Chapter 59 Joker

"What!?", Shidou said aloud when he saw Reo taking off in the air from the right side. 
'That's... my move... the same...', Aiku thought and watched astonished from afar. 
'Copied with 99% accuracy.', Reo told himself. 'Aiku's ability should be capable of dealing with Shidou which is...' 
Reo headed it away from the dangerzone. 
'... my role in this match. Chameleon defense.' 
"Nice one, Reo!", Nagi praised. 
'I'll use this power...', Reo ignored him and concentrated only on his thoughts. '... to kill Shidou.'

Yoichi looked back and watched as the ball flew out of bounds. He then looked back at Sae who walked forwards to his goal zone. 
'It didn't work this time, he still did a decent pass.', he thought and watched as Shidou walked up to Sae to talk to him. 
'Genius my ass. I'll get you next time.'

"Hey, Itoshi Sae.", Shidou called out, as he walked towards his teammate. "That was a nice pass. Playing football with ya is pretty damn fun. It's like electricity's pulsing through my brain." 
"Huh? What the hell is that supposed to mean?", Shidou asked confused. 
"Don't know.", Shidou replied and leaned back a bit, enjoying the small pause because of the ball being out of bounds. "But it feels like this is the first time... The first time my freedom was understood by someone. I feel a Big-Bang coming." 
"Well good for you, but nothing of that matters to me...", Sae said. "... if you can't score. You still gotta score, demon." 

After that Sendou restarted the game by throwing the ball back in to Kitsunezato. He trapped it quickly and turned around to pass it to Sae. Sae heeled the ball between Karasu's legs, catching the raven haired behind him looking and rushed past him. Karasu regained his posture and pursuited him. Shidou got to the goal box. Free from any markers and awaited Sae's pass, which he got shortly after. He was about to turn around to let the ball roll itself in a good position by itself before bumping into Reo, who was behind him this entire time. Shidou finally figured things out because he knew exactly who's move this was.
"After Aiku, it's Niou again? Aren't you skilled?", he asked rethorically. "How about doing impressions for a living?"
"And yet, here you are, losing to a copycat.", Reo retorted prideless. "Perhaps you're not a demon but just some brat."
"HA!", Shidou tore his eye brows together as he shouted in annoyance. "You're just a damn imitation!!!!"
After that he turned around and shot it, ignoring all the factors limitting his hit ratio. Reo stretched his leg out unimpressed and blocked the hard shot up, so that Gagamaru could catch it easily. 
"Nice one!", the goalie praised and moved forward. "Everyone push up!!!!" 
This didn't need to be told twice. All Blue Lock players ran forwards. Gagamaru dropped the ball down to his foot and shot it over the pitch aiming for Nagi. Hayate, who was standing next to his target, got a hold of Nagi and waited for the ball, ready to jump up to create some difficulties for the fellow white haired. Both of them were then overshadowed by Sae jumping up and gracefully trapping the ball with his chest, as if it was something he did everyday. He wasted no time. A he landed he was already swinging his leg and crossing it back into the goal box, where Shidou was only wating for it. 
"WHAT?!", Reo shouted shocked. Shidou used the surprise moment created by Sae and rushed to the goal from Reo's blind spot. As the purple haired turned around, it was already too late. 
'I broke free. It's just me!!!', he thought and followed the ball that has overtaken him. Aryu ran to him from his side to support Reo, but even he knew that he was too late. Gagamaru anticipated that and sprinted out of the penalty area and headed it out of the Shidou zone. Shidou stopped abruptly. All the sensations from his previous goal reawakened inside of him. All the instructions, all the commands for his legs, for his arms, for his torso, for his back, for his head, came from the body parts themselves. Not from his brain. He turned around and looked at the ball. Only one thing left to do. He jumped up and leaped into the air like an angel. An angel of death. 
"Shit...", Gagamaru grunted and rushed back. He didn't think of that when he rushed out to help his defenders out. But did he have any other choice? Shidou meanwhile swung his leg Zlatan-style and slammed his leg with all his mighty power into the ball creating a huge 'Bang'-sound which was heard by everyone on the pitch. Reo and Aryu followed Gagamaru with every last steam left inside of them. Desperate to get the ball. Desperate to keep the score at a draw, but it didn't matter anymore. The ball was already dropping behind the goal line, even though Aryu jumped forwards and dived for it.
