A family thing

Chapter 3 Brazil

"Is that your fucking plan, you stupid brother?", Yoichi asked his brother as they jumped out of the window at 2 a. m. sharp. 
"You got a better one?", Tobio snapped back as they made their way to the family's car. 
"You said you were gonna sort things out and here we are sneaking away...", the younger one reminded him. 
"Alright, I'm fleeing too. Happy now?" 
"That's more like it, you coward of an elder brother." 
"At least I got you to Brazil. Be happy with me for once, you unthankful brat."
"Oh, shut up, get me to the airport first, before you brag around."
Finally they've reached the car. Tobio reached for the driver's door. He opened it. 
"Need a lift?", a scary female voice asked them both. Imediately the two brothers backed off. Their mother and father were sitting in the front seats of the car. Something both of them didn't even dream of. 
"Get in, if you're already here.", she ordered with a sad smile and started the engine. Tobio and Yoichi stared at each other for a second. Did their mother change her mind? 
"Come on already. Or you're gonna be late.", she demanded. They quickly jumped to the back row of the car and buckled up. Soon they set off. Silence filled the car. Their parents were surprisingly quiet. 
'Too quiet...', Yoichi thought. 'Way too quiet. I need to think of something fast. Otherwise, this silence will kill me...' 
"Mum, would you believe me, that I sleep walked to the car with my clothes in a suitcase?", Yoichi suddenly blurted out. 
'WHY THE FUCK DID I SAY THAT?!', he mentally slapped himself imediately. Tobio cracked up a smirk beside next to him. 
"Loser.", he whispered. 
"Looks like you've decided.", their mum suddenly said with a sigh. 
"What do you mean, mum?", Yoichi was confused. 
"Your determination answered all of my doubts in this journey.", the mother continued. "You were ready to risk it all. That must be something." 
The young football player was still confused about his mother's speech. 
"There is this old saying. There are only two things a man will risk everything to gain. Which are his dream and his love of his life. I hope you'll use the time in Brazil wisely, Yoichi. Don't disappoint me.", she finally switched to her angry voice. The boy gulped before staying in silence for the rest of the trip. 

Yoichi stepped inside the check in zone and looked back. His mother was crying so hard and his father was desperately trying to comfort her to stop her tears although he was failing. 
"Thank you mum.", he shouted. "I'll be back in three weeks!!" 
"O-ok... Yoichi... t-take care of yourself.", she answered. 
"You better take care of it, moron!", Yoichi heard his brother shout in the background. 
"Hai~, hai, no need for such a vulgar language. Besides, Yachi-chan won't allow it either.", Hinata said. "Besides, my sister will look after him, if anything bad happens." 
Natsu put up an enthusiastic smile. 
"Alright. You guys ready?", a blonde woman asked them. 
'She must be Yachi-San. Shoyo-San's girlfriend.', Yoichi thought while he was nodding. 'She is so beautiful... I wonder when Nii-San is going to bring back a beautiful girlfriend...' 
"Oi, stop your stupid thoughts about me getting a girlfriend.", his brother chopped him on his head, as if he could read his thoughts. 
"How could you read my mind?", Yoichi asked surprised. 
"Because, just then, our parents, have just reminded me of them wanting to have grandkids.", he replied with an annoyed face while pointing to his back, where their parents stood. "Anyway, I'll be going too. See ya when you make it international." 
The elder brother patted the younger one on the shoulder and walked away. 
"Bye mother, bye father. Come see me in Italy if you have time. I'll pay for the plane ticket.", Tobio shouted before disappearing in the mass of people. 
"Mum, bye. I'll be back safely.", Yoichi now shouted and followed the Hinatas. 
"Bye, Yoichi. Behave, alright! Call us, when you've landed.", his mother shouted back as she watched her son entering the check in area. 
"Ready?", Shoyo patted their shoulders as they have submitted their bigger luggages. 
"Yes, Nii-Chan.", Natsu said excited and jumped into the air. 
"Yes, coach.", Yoichi answered, while smiling at the act of Natsu. 
'Cute.', he thought, as he followed the siblings to the boarding area of the business class.
