"Ugh , when will this bitch stop ."

Jess says eating her fruit salad . She puts her phone down rolling her eyes.

"Wow , I can't believe this is how I learn my sister is active at school. " William jokes and Jess throws a grape at him.

"What guys? Don't give me those looks , he was hot and I was horny so..."

Jess says unbothered . Of course she is , I mean she's the baddie bitch of this school.

"Ok but am I the only one who feels like this person is only attacking our group. I'm kinda worried." Pip says with a scared tone and I just look at her. Why does she have to be this cute .

Danton

"Wow , never thought you'd throw a lit party ." Barry says mocking Meera.

"Haha , so funny ." She says rolling her eyes and I look around the house . Wow , she is lucky to be staying at this mansion . It's even disrespect to call it a house .

"Hey , don't go in there."

I turn to see Meera telling a couple that seemed to be headed to a room .

"Jess said it's ok and who are you ?"

The guy asks but his girlfriend just grabs him and they go into the room.

"Ugh , let's just get away from here." Meera says and we follow her upstairs. I spot Laria and we look at each other and I smile at her but she just looks away .

I look down feeling a pang of hurt but I try to ignore it .

"Wow you have a nice one here ."

"Thanks Barry. The only good thing about this whole new life is this bedroom ."

"Danton you ok man ?"

"Oh yeah , just not used to parties ."

"Yeah man , I get where you're coming from . Even now I'm pretending to enjoy but the noise is killing me . "

Barry says sitting on Meera's sofa while I close the door.

"We won't be able to revise like we planned because of the noise , sorry guys."

"No it's ok . We do need the break and we never talk about us so let's use this as an opportunity."

"Yeah , I agree with Barry." I say sitting down.

"Ok if both of you say that -"

"Wait is  that a mini fridge ?"

"Yeah it is . "

"Damn , so I'm guessing there's drinks . I'm kind of thirsty."

"Mmm, grabbed some juices and energy drinks. I  also made smoothies for us . And there's also sodas and water. Have fun ."

Meera says and we stand fetching the drinks.

"Guys , do you think one day we would be on the gossip page."

"Barry ?"

"What Meera , oh sorry forgot about you . But I don't ever want to appear on that shit ."

"You won't if you don't do anything."

"You also didn't do anything Meera but you still got involved."

"Why you sound so afraid ?" I ask him confused .

"Because...I don't like the fact that we are most likely to start hanging out with them ."

"And why would we do that ?"

"Come on Danton, even if we don't go to them they might come to us . Knowing my brother he would try to set us up as some kind of joke . "

"Relax , as long as we are not written on basis of some...sex ."

"Yeah I guess you're right ."

"Now relax ." Meera says and stands up going to the bathroom.

I look at Barry and he's already looking at me .

"Don't start with me ." I say drinking my Monster .

"I didn't say anything."

"But you want to ."

"Well I-"

My phone lights up with a message and I open it to see it's from Laria.

Harry: come meet me in the garden right now .

She told me to save her as Harry in my defence.

Me: is that an order

Harry: yeah , don't waste my time.

I hear someone clearing his throat and I look up to see Barry looking at me .

"What ?"

"When were you going to tell me ?"

"What are talking about?"

"I'm not a fool Danton. I've not been your best friend since pre-school for nothing.  I know everything about you even if you don't tell me. Is she asking for you."

I nod with a sigh .

"Don't worry I'll cover up for you . But be careful."

"Thanks dude ."

I stand up quickly leaving the room.
