Part 4: Pressure Release

Rena's Pov

The way her words put a damper on my arousal is an understatement. Seeing my disappointment she leaned up on her elbows.

"Rena, please understand that this isn't a lack of wanting. I'm simply trying to be safe and do this the right way. If not, I could hurt you."

A shadow fell across her face with those words and I knew she was being sincere. I leaned forward kissing her lips softly. "Ok, I'll agree to the no sex. But I don't want to wait to see you."

Kayla's eyes narrowed. "Five days."

I thought it over. "Two."

Surprise lit Kayla's expression. "Absolutely not. Four days."

I kissed her once more, slowly this time, using my tongue. "Three," I breathed as Kayla's strong arms wound around my waist.

Kayla easily moved so we were sitting back up. Me snug on her lap. I felt her lips smiling against mine.

"You're something else Rena Resse. I don't know what I'm going to do with you."

I leaned back, tilting my neck to the side. "You're going to bite me. Right here." I said sensuously moving her hand to my neck, where my pulse steadily pounded.

Her hazel eyes zeroed in there. "Rena," she warned.

I shrugged, knowing damn well what I was doing and what I wanted. "I want this. So do it. Bite me again. No gloves, no nothing this time. Just do it."

I could see the indecision fighting for relevance in her beautiful eyes. But it was her hunger and her desire I wanted to speak to. I wanted this so badly. To please her. To have her teeth in my throat.....

Kayla's eyes focused on my neck and I knew I had her. There was no going back. "Do it. Taste me again." I already had her, but I loved adding fuel to the fire. Especially as her grip on me tightened pushing my breasts in her face. She inhaled me. Drew back showing me her extended fangs. That tiny bit of fear and adrenaline washed through me.

"Stay still," she told me. "Breathe slow."

I nodded, knowing she could probably not just feel the jackhammer of my heart beat but hear it too, the closer she got to my neck. I was near swooning when her lips greeted my skin first. She kissed me tenderly, then licked me till I gasped. That's when she chose to bite me.

Kayla's Pov

I daresay I'd not had someone so mesmerizing in a long time. Rena excited me in a way that felt human; like I had forgotten what it was to have a crush on someone new. To desire them in a totally animalistic, feminine way.

The way her blood tasted was just as exhilarating. To say she wasn't exquisite, would be a lie. With her in my grasp, with my teeth in her neck as my tongue and mouth sucked her down; I knew I could have her all. And she'd be happily unaware until those last moments. Panic would set in, as always pushing through a Bite High if the human was facing death. It was like their mortality wanted that last bit of fight before it was snuffed out.

Rena Resse would be in danger to most vampires; tasting as good as she did. Luckily I had excellent control. Even though her moans and how she gyrated in my lap was luring me to do so much more. I eased back, taking my fangs out as her arms languidly wound around my neck. Her desire had switched to bliss. Poking my finger on my fangs I used my own blood to heal my bite punctures. It wasn't a common practice since most vampires cherish their own blood; well any blood. Just I felt it was the right thing to do.

With this second bite I could near feel Rena's emotions trickling across my skin. Her thoughts just a whisper through my mind. Her gray eyes widened as she gazed at me. I was blocking my side of the bond but I knew she could still feel me there.

"This is amazing." She said on a breath.

I smiled and then was caught off guard when she grabbed my head and kissed me. Her desire was wet hot as she pulled me tightly against her. Her raw Need hitting me so hard, I was unprepared for it. I could practically taste her lust as I did her blood.

I didn't stop to think about me being the one in danger. Yet here I was.
