I stared in awe at the fireworks. This was my first time seeing them. Shadow let us come to Earth and watch. The colors flashed and disappeared. I felt a presence sit beside me. I turned and looked at the person. It was Shadow.
"Do you like it?" He asked watching the fireworks. I smiled and looked back at the flashing. "It's interesting. I never seen something like this." I replied. "The humans do it every year. I don't fully understand why, but I heard it was because of a war that happen before the Professor was born." he said. I hummed in response.
The flashing stopped. "It's already over?" I pouted. "No," I heard Shadow reply. I gave him a questioning look. Then all of a sudden multiple flashes and booms erupted in the sky.
"That's a lot." I said.
"Happy 4th Jamie."
