Chapter 15: The Broken Rose

AMY'S POV
I ran down the hall until I got to the room with the view of earth. I went to the window and saw my reflection. I started to sob and went down on the floor. I couldn't take Sonic acting that way to Shadow. Shadow has been with me through everything! Sonic has just........treated me terrible.

I sobbed some more and heard a whirl whirl whirl as it got closer. I then heard the whirl turn into steps. I felt a draft and arms wrap around me. "Rose," I heard Shadow whisper in my ear. I stop crying and wiped my cheeks. I turned around and hugged Shadow.

He brushed my quills and calmed me down. I pulled back enough to face him. He put a hand to my cheek. "How could you ever fall in love with a monster like me?" He ask brushing back a fallen quill. "Who said you were one?" I asked back as we slowly started to lean to each other. We stopped to where we were inches apart.

"I love you, Rose" he said and collided his lips onto mine. We passionately kissed until we ran out of breath and pulled back. Shadow grinned and pulled me into another hug. We sat there for what it seemed like forever.

SHADOW POV
I never knew I would fall in love with someone. At least I am happy to know it was Rose. I love to til death apart us. She is my Rose and I am her Shadow.
