Chapter 3: investigaciones

"Let me understand, after we are back on a damn hellish mission, does the central government want to send us back to the surface to investigate a power plant? especially in that coastal town packed with Raptures?" asked Anis stressed as she walked with the other members of the counters squad to the nearest for surface lift.

It had only been almost two hours since the Squad had returned to the Arck, after they carried out grueling tests devised by Ingrid they thought they could finally rest, when they had a moment that could be defined as relaxation a call from Anderson forced them to prepare for another mission.

it is unfortunately this very stressed the blonde Nikke feeling that after that mission hell they had to face another hell, her hope was that it was all in her mind and she had only listen bad, but she only got more nervous after she saw Rapi's head nodded firmly, the blonde's face turned into a grimace that showed her annoyance at the situation "Damn! we go through hell for them and to thank us they throw us back into that hell!" he said with complete annoyance, clicking his tongue a little as he crossed his arms under his broad chest.

"aren't you being a little too melodramatic Anis?!" asked Assassin raising an eyebrow but he only receive a glare from the blonde "Assassin, we are not supernatural beings capable of taking down a Tyrant like you are!" yelled the blonde towards the Servant who backed away for the blonde's sudden outburst as he put his hands forward.

"Anis you're exaggerating a little too much, plus it's an order and it's our duty to obey is to fulfill this mission." intervened Steve trying to calm the blonde "oh, what a good dog we have here, always obeying his masters, right?" taunts Anis towards the Commander who was surprised by the sudden insult received by Anis.

"Anis!"  called Rapi looking at her with disapproval and slightly annoyed seeing how the blonde insulted one of his companions and their commander, an act that for her must have been like subordination, Anis looking at Rapi's look of reproach a slight sorry grimace formed on his face and then sighed to calm his nerves "Sorry commander and Assassin ... I exaggerated, this situation I had lost my patience and I targeted you to vent." Anis apologized, scratching his embarrassed head looking at the victims of his recent outburst.

"Don't worry, I wasn't offended, I was only slightly surprised by your sudden behavior." replied Assassin quietly towards the blonde.

"Don't worry Anis, it doesn't matter, it can happen to everyone has a moment grassing for too much stress." replied Steve trying to cheer up the blonde even if Rapi and Assassin noticed that Anis' insult hurt him a bit and tried to hide it from the blonde so as not to make her feel guilty.

"Ok, returning to the mission, who will be the commander assigned to this mission?" asked Rapi, trying to change the subject and divert attention from the recent behavior that her colleague Nikke had.

"actually  commander assigned has this mission is me." explain simply Steve  causing the female soldier nikke to blink, Assassin noticed that Anis also looked at Steve with extreme disbelief.

seeing the reactions of the two young women, Assassin became curious and approaching the dull-haired Nikke who for the moment was rubbing  of her nose as if she was  trying to calm down in her distraught state while she seemed in the meantime overthinking "everything is fine, do you look upset?" he asked about Assassin lying his left hand on Rapi's shoulder who came out in his state of thought looking quietly at Assassin with his usual detached look "yes I'm fine, it's just weird."

"What's strange?" asked Assassin in a curious tone as he looked at the young woman who sighed only hearing the question "it's just that it's strange that on a mission we were assigned the same commander."

This statement caused a slight confusion in Assassin's eyes upon hearing Rapi's response, not understanding the situation "why?" asked Steve looking at Rapi.
