Chapter Seventeen

Ethan POV

I was hurt that Angela didn't want me to be in the operating room with her. I was sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours with Aiden, Anderson, Andrew, April, and Abby. Aiden kept looking at me and clenching his fist.

"Angela King's family", the doctor says walking over to us. "Yes", Aiden says standing up. "So we delivered the babies and they will be in the nursery for a while but we are not sure if one of them will survive", he said. My heart sank when I heard those words. "What is going on with them", Anderson asked. "Well they hooked up to alot of machines to help them breath and help them get bigger. The boy was born first and he weighs 1 pound 8 ounces. He started to cry when he was born but he still needs help to breath", the doctor says but I cut him off. "So is he going to be okay as far as survival", I ask. "Yes he is healthy but we are going to keep him here until he reaches 5 pounds. But the baby girl is a different story, she wasn't breathing at all when she was born. We gave her oxygen and she was okay. The one thing we are scared about if she has any seizures", he says but the nurses runs to the doctor and whispered in his ear. He ran off seconds later. "What's going on" I yell. But no answer.

Cameron POV

Allison and I were in the looking out the window of the nusury because we weren't allowed in there. Ethan Jr was getting hooked up to alot of wires and machines until the nurses she Isabella shaking like crazy. All of the nurses face there there attention to Isabella try the stop the shaking. We see the doctor running down the hall to see what's going on.

"Allison I think we should go to the waiting room for this", I say tapping her shoulder. "Okay", she says crying. We go to the waiting room and they all rush to us. "What's going on with the babies", Aiden asked. "We don't know we decided to leave because nurses were rushing from everywhere to take care of them", Allison says.

I saw Ethan starting to cry so I pull outside to ask him what's going on with him. "Ethan are you going to be okay", I ask. "I'm not going to be for a long time. This is all my fault, two innocent babies could die because of me", he says crying even more. "Ethan everything is going to be okay", I say giving him a hug. He breaks down even more. "Do you want to see them", I add. "No not when I'm like like this", he says pulling away. "But I would like to talk to Angela", he adds trying to calm down.
