Wars can be defined as chaotic, traumatic, and most of all, agonizing. People typically have reasons for fighting in wars—revenge, defense, or perhaps something deeper. If you were in a war, would you fight for the peace and safety of your loved ones, protecting them from the horrors that loom beyond home turf? Or would you fight for glory, for victories to be won, and for the bloodlust that can be unleashed? Decades have passed since the last major conflict, and the world isn't prepared for another world war.

Last time Nicole was being taken to the Straight Club..
Kylar: "Guys welcome our new member, Nicole."
Braxton: "Aw what's up?"
Jeffrey: "Fancy seeing you here!"
Nicole: "Why am I not surprised it's all men?"
Kylar: "It's movie night, boys. We got the projector ready?"
Braxton: "Nah but I got it." Braxton went to set up the projector.
Kylar: "Cool lemme help ya." Kylar went after Braxton, insisting that they'd be able to work together to get the projector up and running. Meanwhile, Jeffrey approached their latest member in his most disgusting fashion.
Jeffrey: "So you're in the straight club, huh?"
Nicole: "Let's not use the word "in".
Jeffrey: "Visiting then?"
Nicole: "I guess? Why are you in the straight club?"
Jeffrey: "Isn't it obvious?"
Nicole: "Don't make me say it."
Jeffrey: "Well okay maybe it's kind of a long story. It all goes back to when I finally started narrowing down my interests into a couple of key hobbies. Like video games and anime for starters."
Nicole: "Don't make me say it."
Jeffrey: "And I loved stuff like that so much I wasn't afraid to tell anyone about it, but I didn't think so many people would find it annoying. My hobbies are practically my identity and ever since middle school I've been bullied for every hobby I've had."
Nicole: "Good."
Jeffrey: "Yeah that's what they said too. I saw other kids get bullied for being gay or foreign and everyone immediately rushes to their defense. But when I got bullied for how I talked or what I liked, no one really cared. Like I wasn't supposed to be protected."
Nicole: "Almost as if liking anime is a choice."
Jeffrey: "Exactly, and that's when I realized no one's sympathetic when you're regular bullied. They only care if you're bullied for something you say you're born as. Before they were jerks for bullying me, but with this new group they're gonna be bigots."
Nicole: "Okay that surprisingly clicks, except for one thing."
Jeffrey: "What's that?"
Nicole: "Why the fuck did you pick the straight club?"
Jeffrey: "I couldn't really pull off being gay, I get too nervous around girls. My friend Jasper loved cartoons and Amanda Show, but then he came out as gay and it was like no one was allowed to call him annoying anymore."
Nicole: "Did you say Amanda Show?"
Jeffrey: "Yeah why?"
Nicole: "No reason--Straight pride isn't gonna make anyone wanna protect you. Straights are way in the lead here."
