Jaxon's Pov:

As I stood at the front of the school waiting for my chosen little sister, she walked out. Her hoodie was pulled tightly over her figure and her expression was downcast.

"Yo, R? You Aight?" I called out, and her eyes snapped up at mine.

I saw one quick flicker in them before she masked it again; pain. Something was clearly wrong.

"Rep?" I repeated. She shook her head, clearing some sort of train of thought, and responded with a hum to signalize she was fine.

"You didn't eat at lunch," I pointed out. She shrugged.

The new girl that rep had fallen asleep on twice came out from the entrance and exit of the school. Lover, the one rep told me about. Rep must be happy to see her.

I looked back at rep's expression, it quickly lit up the second the blonde came over to her.

Oh, they're gay for eachother. For sure.

I knew rep was homo, and with this pink item on the shelf, I could now make fun of her for it.

"Hi reppp," lover said as she approached us. I could've sworn my gay little sister blushed, but she just sent a nod to lover as she came over.

"So, I'm going to give you my number in case you wanna chat!" The radiant girl smiled. I could've said so many profanities in teasement (is that a word?) when I saw a ghost of a smile on MGLS's face (my gay little sister).

Rep extended her arm out, intending to just type her number in lover's phone to save lover the trouble, rep was like that; but her backpack randomly slid off her shoulder, running down her arm and landing on the floor.

Rep winced, and let out a very quiet "Shit,".

Lover sent a glance at rep.

Her parents, must be her parents.

"Uh, it dropped on my shoe. It- it slid off and dropped on my- uh, ring- ring toe?" She explained.

Convincing.

"R," I warned.

Silence overtook the space, except for the background noise of our loud ass suburban neighborhood school, or loud ass suburban neighborhood backup hell.

Rep's pov;

Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit.
I had to think, and quick. What's a lie that's believable? Of course.

"Ok- fine. Uh, dad- slammed me? Into the counter?" I said, attempting to sound convincing. I think it worked, as both of their gazes shifted to concern and sympathy.

"I'm fine, it's fine-" I tried, jax cut me off.

"You're staying at mine tonight," he insisted.

Aw, fuck. Why do I make up shit like this? I literally have trauma, why am I using it to my benefit? It only gets me in more... well, shit. I'm so fucked up.

"Uh huh, now, your number, love?" I turned towards lover.

SHIT. SHIT. SHIT. WHY DID I CALL HER THAT? Gay fucking panic, shut up. Shut up. Shut up, shut up. Shut up, oh.. but she's so pretty, she's so hot. I wish she was mine. FUCK. Shit. Shit. Shit, why? What the fuck, man? Brain, shut up. But I called her love. She's not my love. What if she has a boyfriend? FUCK. What-
