Hate and I are one in the same

Hate and I are one in the same,
You can't have me without hate.
Hate runs deep inside me,
much like how blood runs in you.
Yet I wasn't always like this,
my hatred was taught,
but I still can't look at you,
without hate filling me.
I wish hate and I weren't the same,
because I wish I could love you,
but I don't run on blood nor love,
I'm not wired like you.
Hate will always run deep in me,
like how love runs deep in you,
we are total polar opposites,
two sides of the same coin,
and I wish we weren't so different,
because maybe, just maybe,
in another life we could be together.
But no, I see you and I see hate;
not for who you are,
but for how you have acted.
