I fear that we may be the same

I fear that we may be the same,
the same, but different,
two sides of a one-way mirror,
I fear that I am a monster,
a monster that you created;
and the monster always inherits the sin.
Sometimes I look at myself,
and I fear that I am becoming you,
the blood on my hands,
was never spilled by me,
because the monster inherits the sin,
something I wish never happened.
