I sat in class, next to Stiles all the way in the back with Scott in front of Stiles. I was half asleep, it was hard for me to fall asleep last night. I leaned my head on my hand.

The teacher was handing back our tests. Stiles taps Scott's shoulder with his pencil. "If Derek isn't the Alpha, if he's not the one who bit you, then who did?" Stiles asks. "I don't know." Scott says. "Did the alpha kill the bus driver?" Stiles asks again.

"I don't know" Scott responds again. "does Allison's dad know about the-" Stiles starts to ask. "I don't know!" Scott yells, everyone turns their heads. The teacher gets to Stiles and Scott, handing them their tests.

Stiles got an A and Scott got a D- with a note. "dude, you need to study more." Stiles jokes. "that was a joke. Scott, it's one test. You're gonna make it up. Do you want help studying?" Stiles continues.

Scott sighs, "No. Im studying with Allison after school today." Scott admits. "that's my boy." Stiles says, like a proud father. "we're just studying." "uh-uh. No, you're not" Stiles Denys.

"No, I'm not?" Scott says, confused. "not, if I'm forced to live vicariously through you. if you go to her house today and squander that colossal opportunity, I swear to God I'll have you de-balled." Stiles says, a little loudly. "okay." Scott says.

"Just stop with the questions, man." Scott continues. "done. No more questions. No more talk about the Alpha or Derek. Especially Derek, who still scares me." Stiles says. I snort. He gives me a glare.

Class ends and I'm walking around the hallway. I thought I saw Derek, but it was probably my minds play tricks on me. I was walking with Allison and Lydia. "Scott's coming over, tonight?" Lydia asks.

"We're just studying together." Allison says. "Just studying never ends with just studying. Its like getting into a hot tub. Somebody eventually cops a feel." Lydia says. "might be just for you, Lyds. every time you invite Jackson over to study, you clothes end up out the window and your nails are ruined." I say.
