Michelle POV

As the warm glow of our kiss faded into a gentle embrace, a memory came flooding back to me. It was the evening when Antonnia had organized a special dinner for her family to meet me, a night filled with warmth, love, and hidden promises.

---

In the cozy dining room of Antonnia's apartment, the table was set with an array of delicious dishes she had painstakingly prepared. The aroma of her favorite recipes filled the air, creating an inviting atmosphere. Her family was seated around the table, chatting excitedly, curious and eager to meet the person who had captured her heart.

I walked in, looking both nervous and excited. She introduced me to her family, my heart pounding with anticipation. "Everyone, this is the person I've told you so much about."

Her family greeted me warmly, welcoming me with open arms. They were kind and accepting, making me feel instantly at ease. As we all settled into conversation, laughter and stories flowed freely, bridging any gaps between us.

After a while, I excused myself to get some fresh air. Her parents followed, sensing an opportunity for a private conversation.

Outside, under the soft glow of the garden lights, I took a deep breath and turned to her parents. "I wanted to speak to you both privately," I began, my voice steady but filled with emotion. "I love your daughter very much. She means everything to me. I intend to marry her when the time is right, and I wanted your blessing."

Her parents exchanged a glance, then smiled warmly. Her mother reached out, placing a hand on my arm. "We can see how much you love her. You've made her incredibly happy, and that's all we've ever wanted for her."

Her father nodded in agreement. "You have our blessing. Just promise us one thing—take care of her and cherish her always."

With tears of gratitude in my eyes, I nodded. "I promise. I will always love and protect her."

We embraced, sealing the promise with a sense of unity and understanding. I returned to the table, my heart lighter and filled with hope for the future.

---

As the memory faded, I smiled, holding Antonnia close. The dinner had been a pivotal moment, a bridge between our past and our future. Knowing her family had welcomed me  open arms and given their blessing filled me with warmth and contentment.

Antonnia looked at me, sensing the shift in my thoughts. "What are you thinking about?" she asked softly.

I smiled, leaning in for another kiss. "Just remembering the night I've won your family's hearts."
