Michelle POV

The morning sun filtered softly through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. I woke to the gentle vibration of notifications on my phone. I groggily checked the time and then turned to look at the woman sleeping peacefully beside me. A blissful smile spread across my face as I took in the sight.

Careful not to wake her, I gently brushed a strand of hair from Antonnia's face. But as if sensing my gaze, she stirred, her eyes fluttering open. We smiled at each other, sharing a quiet moment of happiness.

"Good morning," she whispered, her voice still heavy with sleep.

"Good morning," I replied, leaning in to give her a soft, lingering kiss.

We sat up, still wrapped in the warmth of our shared bed. I reached for my phone, an idea forming in my mind. "Let's take a selfie," I suggested, my eyes sparkling with joy. "Our first day as a married couple."

Antonnia's eyes widened with surprise and delight. "I love that idea," she said, nodding eagerly.

We scooted closer, our faces touching, and I held the phone out in front of us. "Ready?" I asked, my thumb hovering over the button.

"Ready," she affirmed, her smile radiant.

With a click, the camera captured our beaming faces, forever preserving the moment. We looked at the photo together, our hearts swelling with happiness and love.

"It's perfect," I said, my voice filled with emotion. "Just like us."

She nodded, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "I couldn't agree more."

We kissed again, sealing our promises and dreams for the future with the love we shared in that single, beautiful moment. The road ahead might still hold challenges, but with each other, we knew we could face anything.

As we spent the day, lounging on the couch with our dogs at our feet, I turned to Antonnia, a playful glint in my eye. "You know, last night made me realize how lucky I am to have found my soulmate," I said softly.

She grinned, leaning in closer. "Oh really? And who might that be?"

I rolled my eyes, smirking as I pointed to our dogs. "These two, of course."

She pouted, crossing her arms. "Really? Not even a close second?"

I chuckled, then gently tilted her chin up, locking eyes with her. "Fine," I said, my voice tender. "It's you, silly. You're my soulmate."

Her pout transformed into a wide smile. "Good answer," she teased, leaning in for a kiss. "I'm glad I found mine too."

We kissed, the warmth and certainty of our love enveloping us. The dogs barked, breaking the moment, but we both laughed, feeling an overwhelming sense of contentment. "Guess the dogs approve," I said, giggling.
