In the blink of an eye, Boo Seungkwan's feelings began to change.

Of course, he wasn't someone without a heart or excessively stubborn. He wanted to live in peace too.

But no, it wasn't a dramatic change. Just... not the same as last week. As he said, his hatred towards Kim Mingyu had lessened by 0.1 percent. It was still significant but reduced.

And it wasn't just that. Something strange was happening to his heart too. Twice now, his heartbeat had quickened when his eyes met Mingyu's deep gaze. For some reason, Mingyu's eyes seemed to be trying to tell him something the taller boy couldn't say out loud.

That's why Seungkwan's mind was in chaos now. Although he had attended his last two classes after 'the meeting' with Mingyu, the memory still stuck with him.

"Aargh!" Seungkwan messed up his hair in frustration. He was walking through the University's gate on his way home. Because of Kim Mingyu's unexpected arrival this morning, Seungkwan had left his bike at home. "Stupid Kim M—"

Seungkwan jumped at the sudden rumble of thunder as it began to pour rain, even though the weather had been sunny since morning. "Shit!" The auburn-haired boy immediately ran as fast as he could toward the nearest bus stop for shelter, covering his head with his hands.

"Why does the rain have to come now? Couldn't it wait until I got home?" he muttered, trying to dry himself off. The distance between the gate and the bus stop was enough to drench him.

While waiting for the bus to arrive, Seungkwan looked at people running around, trying to avoid the raindrops. Quite a few sought refuge at the bus stop with him, making the place feel cramped. Before Seungkwan could protest being pushed aside, an SUV stopped in front of him.

"Seungkwan oppa! Need a ride?" Chwe Hangyeol Sofia called out, still in her high school uniform as the backseat window rolled down.

"Sofia... why are you here?" Seungkwan asked, surprised.

"To fetch the baby Chwe, of course!" She smiled, pointing at Vernon beside her, who was waving at Seungkwan.

"Come on, just get in, Kwan," Vernon called.

"B—but..."

"No buts, okay? I insist!" Sofia cut Seungkwan off, opening her car door. "Come on, oppa!" She moved to the seat beside the driver from inside to let Seungkwan in so he could sit beside her brother.

Seeing this, Seungkwan couldn't refuse anymore. "Fine!" Seungkwan hurriedly got in and closed the car door behind him. "I'm sorry for bothering you," he said, "and maybe for making your car seat wet."
