The school was quiet as the sun began to set, casting long shadows through the large windows of the student council room. Jing Yuan, the ever-dedicated student council president, sat at the head of the table, meticulously going over the plans for the upcoming school festival. You, the vice president, were seated beside him, typing away on your laptop, finalizing the budget report.

"Do you think we have enough for the decorations?" Jing Yuan asked, his voice calm and steady as always.

You glanced up, meeting his warm, golden eyes. "Yes, I think we should be fine. Plus, the art club offered to help with making some of them, so that saves us a bit."

He nodded, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Good thinking. We make a great team, don't we?"

Your heart skipped a beat at his words. Working alongside Jing Yuan had always felt natural, but lately, you couldn't help but notice the way his presence made you feel—comforted, appreciated, and, if you were honest with yourself, a little bit in love.

the preparations for the festival were in full swing. You and Jing Yuan spent countless hours together, organizing, planning, and sometimes just chatting about life. The late-night meetings became your favorite part of the day. It was in those quiet moments, surrounded by papers and plans, that you felt the closest to him.

One evening, as you were finishing up a particularly long meeting, Jing Yuan stretched and leaned back in his chair. "You've been working really hard. Don't forget to take care of yourself."

You smiled, feeling a warmth spread through your chest. "I could say the same to you. You're always here before anyone else and leave last."

He chuckled softly, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Well, I have a great vice president who makes my job a lot easier."

He's too much..

Who wouldn't even like him?

It was a  rainy day, you both stayed late, the pitter-patter of raindrops providing a soothing background score to your work. The warm glow of the desk lamp illuminated Jing Yuan's focused face, his brow furrowing slightly as he concentrated.

"Do you ever take a break?" you teased, offering him a cup of tea.

He looked up, a soft smile playing on his lips. "Only when my diligent Vice President reminds me to."
