≠Chapter 28≠

One month had passed. Time flies to fast while we are in our journey. We didn't noticed it until one day we realised that it is already a month passed after we leave the Elf's Town. We still far from seeing any humans but we keep going.

Lots of things happened in that month. Franz get lots of experience by fighting beasts. We discovered beasts that we just seen just now. Some of them are Giant Centipede, Killer Wasp, Bloodsucking Bat, Giant Earth Worm, Bladed Wings Falcon, and more.

Franz got hard time dealing with the beasts we faced because of his limited magic spells. But I am supporting him on the rear, making sure that he will get the chance of getting experience without me interfering it. There are times that I need to step in because he can't take a position because of the beast's capabilities. Especially the Bladed Wings Falcon, it is fast, huge, and it can release blades in a shape of its feather. But in the end, it didn't stand a chance against me.

For our survivability, we are lucky to see fruit bearing trees kaya nakakuha kami nang pagkain para sa mga susunod na araw. We also eat some meats of animals na makikita namin habang naglalakbay. We found a chickens and pigs so we have foods for the other days.

There are some nights where we are targeted by nocturnal beasts, but I killed them alone while I'll let Franz sleep in his tent. He need lots of rest than me.

Franz is getting stronger day by day, and last time, he manage to slightly cracked the magic spell I cast on him nang makalaban namin ang Giant Earthworm. Malaki ito at hindi kayang pigilan nang kahit anong harang, but when he uses the gift given by the seal, he instantly killed it.

Pero sa halos isang buwan, hindi pa din namin nakikita ang kahit kaunting senyales na malapit na kami sa mundo nang mga tao.

Ngayon ay naglalakad kami sa masukal na gubat, halos hindi makapasok ang sinag nang araw sa loob kaya parang madaling araw lang dito.

"Halos isang buwan na tayo, Levi, makakapunta pa kaya tayo sa mundo nang mga tao?", Franz asked while walking his magic to create a path for us.

"I can't answer that, ipagpatuloy lang natin ang paglalakad", I said then continue to walked forward.

Hindi naman nagtanong pa si Franz at nagpatuloy na din sa paglalakad. I became alarmed when I sense a powerful negative energy that is approaching us in a fast way, it looks like Franz can't sense it because he keep walking forward.

"Ice Wall", I cast a magic spell then protect myself and Franz from an incoming attack.

Napatigil si Franz sa paglalakad at napatingin sa akin na may pagtataka sa kaniyang mukha. Before he could speak, the attack from an unknown enemy hit my wall that create an explosion.

"Ano yun?! I can't sense anything!", Franz asked then took his wand looking in front of the dark smoke cause by the explosion earlier. Tinanggal ko na din ang harang na ginawa ko kanina para harapin ang umatake sa amin.

When the dark smoke slowly dissipate, we seen a Giant Ogre, covered with negative energy, his hands is aiming to us.

"Demon Ogre", Franz said with surprise looked like he can't believe what he is seeing.

I know the Demon Ogre, it is one of the army of the three creatures with horns that He deployed in this world. They are the one who leads a war against other races in order to fully control this world. Demon Ogre is known for its magic casting, although they only cast two magic spell, it is still strong. It also have speed even having that huge body, he have also strength given by his body structure. It was once a beast, but because of the three original demons, it became a Demon Ogre. Some of them died while some manage to escape, they won't die until the one who turn them like that died.
