After the fights we had in the ten beasts earlier, we haven't encountered any beasts in the way until we reached the center of the island. We hide our magical energy and refrain ourselves from casting magic spell that could attract the beasts in the center of the island.

I wide grassland can be seen, we are in the top of the hill and we're hiding in the tree. From our position, we can see everything that's happening on the ground.

I seen a huge gemstone floating in the ground, the huge gemstone emits powerful magical energy. The magical energy is tenfold stronger than the beasts around it.

What I noticed is a beasts that surrounds the huge gemstone and having its pieces, putting it to their body. There are only three beasts that is standing around the gemstone. The beast that lives in the ground, the beast that lives in the air, and the beast that leaves in the water. All of them represents their kind of beast.

A Flaming Lion represents the beasts that lives in the land. Aside from that beasts, there's no one from its kind possessed a flaming body. The Metal Feather Falcon represents the beasts living in the air, same as the Flaming Lion, no one from its kind have a metal feather. And lastly, the Twelve Tentacle Octopus, it represents the beasts living in the water, no one from its kind have twelve tentacles than it. All of the three representatives is powerful, they have powerful magical energy, almost the same with the gemstone but a little lesser to it.

Makikita sa ilalim nang gemstone ang siyam na Gold Rank Adventurers trapped in this island. The gemstone is sucking all their magical energy until they die. The Adventurers can't escaped because of the three beast representatives that guarding their path.

"The Gemstone is the source of everyone, Levi, if we break it, we can safe everyone and the beasts will die", Franz said while watching what's happening under. "The Gemstone is sucking the magical energy of the Adventurers, sigurado akong ganiyang din ang ginawa nila sa mga taong napunta dito, they become the source of strength of that Gemstone", he added while watching how the gemstone suck the magical energy of the trapped Adventurers.

Magical Energy is essential in this world, all living creatures possess it, even a little, it serves as their life source, and completely taking it away may cause their body to die. That's why there's a limits to anyone who can use magic. Once they used too much of their magical energy, their life will be in danger, and they will die later.

I shook my head. "I don't think so, they manage to take pieces of the gemstone so easily like it is a paper or what, so destroying it might not be the answer", I answered the theory of Franz, though he is right, destroying the gemstone into pieces can kill the beasts around that rely from it, but it will destroy the island.

Kahit na walang silbi ito para sa akin, sa tingin ko, mapapakinabangan ito nang mga taga-Rigel City. The island is riched in natural resources which they can used for daily lives. The land is also fertile, they can plant crops here, the trees around grown so big and good so any plants here will grow just like that.

Aside from the good quality of the island, it is surrounded with barrier that protects the island from water once it goes down under the water, and it is because of the gemstone that the beasts uses for themselves.

In my idea, the gemstone is already here for so long not until the beasts discovered it and do a plan of using it, and that ends to the current situation. Although there might be beasts that time, the gemstone protects them, but they ended up abusing the power of the gemstone.

"Anong gagawin nating kung ganun?", Franz asked, still watching that happens on the ground.

"Kailangan nating makuha ang gemstone and keep it away from the beasts, the only reason that they didn't flee even after having the power is because they will lose everything they have once they get to far from the gemstone, that's why they remained here", I answered. I analyse every possible reasons of existence of the beasts here in Sinking Island, and I get to that theory.
