"The cardinals are expected to arrive in 3 hours to consult the pope on the situation, although some claim he vigorously opposes Adriel," the reporter said.

Abstergo members with Adriel are sitting down together, watching a live podcast in their room.

"When he announces it, I suggest you better preach your message from there," Ellen said.

He smirks and then looks back at the TV.

"Noted. I also think we should keep using PMC for now until I gather a pleasing amount of followers and rebuild the order," Adriel commented.

"And nobody disagrees with you," Ellen smirked.

Sophia receives a call from Da Costa, which she hurries to answer.

"Nothing positive from this call, Ms. Kaye," Adriel commented.

Sophia stands away from the doorway, dismayed by the news.

"Has he hinted at his new boss?" Sophia wonders.

"I don't think so, but I know where he's going," Da Costa replied.

"We'll handle it, Da Costa... have a rest for now," Sophia affirmed.

Duretti is in the pope's headquarters, where he stumbles upon a cardinal nodding at him, suggesting their plan is advancing forward.

In the same area, the fugitive group is headed by truck to the Vatican archives while Camila listens to the news.

"Are you sure he can handle this alone?" William asked.

"He takes risks, although he can pull them off successfully," Superion replied.

Jillian stands in the arc room, taking a deep breath before sending her drones to the other side.

She flies three of them, holding an iPad in her hand to detect their movement.

She loses signal on two of them, although one of them is sent back and almost hits Jillian's head.

Clay steps into the room in a rush and bows his head down, letting the drone break.

Then he picks himself up, staring at Jillian.

"You shouldn't have done that, Ms. Salvius," Clay said.

She takes a few steps forward, placing the iPad on the table near a PC.

"I don't really understand why you both are covering up for her. She basically prevented me from going inside with my son," Jillian responded.

"If she knew where your son was, she'd help you through me or Desmond," Clay commented.

"He's my son, Kaczmarek, not an object.... Imagine someone dear to you is lost. What would you do?" Jillian said with an angry voice.

"And what if you had all the knowledge of his position, although a price must be paid back in return?" Clay made a point.

"What do you mean?" Jillian wondered.

"What I said," Clay smirked.

Jillian is speechless, then sits down on the chair, leaning her upper body between her legs.

She gazes at Kaczmarek with a neutral expression.

"I have to think about it," Jillian commented.

"A mother like you would do anything to save her son, but believe me, you're wasting your time because he doesn't need your rescue," Clay leaned on the wall while saying that.
