Tiffany Holland made her way across the cemented ground, ready to start her day. With a full schedule filled with clients, all with different needs, she was ready to take on the long day ahead before looking up and slightly ceasing her steps. Her olive colored face eyed the past patient with confusion, as she looked at him, sitting down on a bench by the door of the small building.

Clad in a hoodie and shirt, along with some jeans, she parted her mouth to speak, given he appeared to be focusing in on something on the ground.

"Heru...hi. How are you?" Her slightly raspy tone greeted, prompted the man to look up.

There was a sullen look in his eyes and she could tell he hadn't been sleeping.

"She gettin' out."

Taking in his greeting back, both Tiffany's eyebrows went up as she nodded.

She then glanced down at her watch.

"Okay...um. I have an eleven o'clock. I can give you fifteen minutes, but you have to make an appointment next time Heru. Come on in."

Slowly rising up, Heru followed behind the short woman into the building and down the hall, to her office. Closing the the door behind her, Heru opted to stand, while Tiffany placed her suitcase down and took a seat in her chestnut colored chair.

"I apologize for just poppin up. I ain't really have no one else to vent to." Heru apologized sincerely.

"It's fine. No worries. I haven't seen you in a while though, Heru. How have you been?" Tiffany questioned.

Heru took several months to answer, as he had been feeling quite a lot of things since Irie's phone call.

"Alright...I guess. She called me."

Tiffany had been Heru's therapist for two years before he stopped showing up. The last time she saw him, was three years ago. This made her privy to everything Heru had been through regarding himself and his estranged wife. Although she felt as though he needed more help, she couldn't force a patient to do anything, but she always thought about him here and there and hoped that he was okay.

"Oh okay. Well what did she say?"

"Not much...just that she was getting out soon and that she was saying goodbye."

"Goodbye to what?" Tiffany inquired, making mental notes, as Heru leaned his head against the wall.

"I don't know...me. She thanked me too, for everything I did for her while she was in there."
