"Oh my goodness babe, you look so good with that one....like GQ type good," Lilac took another sip of her diet coke, as she eyed Heru slowly.

Heru made a face before side eyeing her.

"What? You do. That creme contrasts beautifully against your skin baby. Keep it."

"But I'm suppose to be trying on the other two baby," he replied, as Lilac smirked at his deep tone.

"Yeah, but sometimes we gotta know when it's time to stop looking. This the one. Trust me."

Heru glanced down at the expensive, cream colored Gucci ensemble.

"Aight. I go with it."

Lilac smiled in satisfaction before standing up and taking the few steps to her man. She then stood on her tiptoes, wrapping her arms around Heru's neck before he leaned down, granting her a few short pecks.

"You make anything look good babe...anything," Lilac smiled at him.

Heru forced one, as he gave Lilac a few more kisses before changing out of the popular brand and back into his plain, white tee, dark blue jeans and white, gray and blue Nike Air Jordan 1's.

The two were trying on outfits for Lilac's parent's World Reservation Gala, which would be in a few weeks.

They were very passionate about all things wildlife and earth related. Being with Lilac came with a lot of dress up and show, Heru realized and he'd grown used to it. Her family were somewhat of 'elite' type status, with great connections in different places.

Heru's mind had been all over the place.

Between sex, work, supporting Lilac and her newest endeavor for clothing design and a slew of other things, he was beginning to feel like he was losing momentum.

All those things slept his mind at bay....for a while, but then reality would creep right back up to him.

"You okay baby?" Lilac gently swiped her thumb across his bottom lip in an effort to erase the faint, pink colored gloss.

"Yeah, I'm good."

Tilting her head to the side, her long, goddess braids fell in formation in one swift move as well.
