You can pretend everything is okay,
and that we will accept your new life.
No, everything has changed,
you've caused us so much suffering and strife.
You left a dollar for a penny,
gold for silver,
but you think I understand because I'm almost twenty.
I will never accept what you did.
I will never forget, never forgive.
You threw your marriage away
and dragged your own children into your stupid game.
Your infidelity caused my father's broken heart,
cut my sister's wrists after a year being clean,
tore me even more apart,
and made my sweet brother's words mean.
Try to make up lies and excuses ,
no dumb words will undo what you've done.
May your lying lips poison his,
and may your new relationship burn in the fire
you threw your "old" family in.
