//NOTES: This is NOT chapter two of the first thing. These are more like Oneshots! Just want to make that clear, these are a series of oneshots related to Nezha and Chinese Mythology as a whole! Thank you and enjoy//

Taiyi and Nezha stand in front of the door of the throne room of the Jade Emperor, or better known as the Hall of Divine Mists. Whereupon he, his wife, and all the gods, immortals, and sages of heaven were waiting to meet him. However Nezha was hesitant to go inside.

Nezha looked over to his Shifu, his calm and light smile demeanor gracing as his phoenix brown eyes followed back to the eyes of the boy.

"I don't know if I can do this." Nezha simply said, fidgeting his fingers as his eyes went back toward the fine doors of gold and sage green.

"My beloved disciple, what is there to be anxious about?" Taiyi asked Nezha, who responded, "It's not everyday someone learns they're the grandson of the Jade Emperor."

Taiyi Zhenren understood where Nezha was coming from, for he did wish he told him that he was in fact, the grandson of the Jade Emperor. However, he didn't know if he'd understand or even take it well. If anything he wanted to wait until he was older..however it didn't go according to Taiyi's plan.

"Nezha, your nerves are understood completely. However, you shouldn't have any fear of the Jade Emperor's presence. For he wishes to see you." Taiyi replied, putting an assuring hand on Nezha's shoulder. "It's been a long time before the highnesses had seen their daughter, however because she hasn't achieved the way to come to heaven... They never knew they had grandsons until you were born. They're the most eager to meet you."

Taiyi opened the doors of the Hall of Divine Mists, even if Nezha was ready or not, he knew it had to be done. Nezha repeated the words that he practiced. He didn't have his eyes wander all around the room, unwilling to risk making eye contact with the other eyes on him. Although, from what he could see without looking like a lost deer, the Hall of the Jade Emperor was stunning. Silky white porcelain-like pillars held up the roof with radiated silky tapestry that hung from them, a imperial rug that started from the steps of the heavenly throne and the doorway of the hall, along with lanterns with a blue glow which flattered that sparkling of the stardust that hovered in the corners of the room.

Once the two walked inside of the room, everyone in heaven had their eyes glued to the young lotus boy as they whispered and mumbled amongst themselves, praise and curious words.

For they saw..

His coy, jadelike face like a full moon;
Ruddy lips and a square mouth with pearly teeth.
Protrusive eyeballs give lightning-like gaze;
Bangs crowd his forehead like gathered mists.
His sash like flying flames dances around him;
Sunlit, his brocade lotus attire sheds golden blooms.
Brilliant golden dangles on his wrists and ankles shimmered like the sun;
Hair as dark as night were tied in two warrior buns,
Lustrous cherry-red ribbons tied two buns.
Though small in body, his voice rings loud and strong.

The sound of deities blathering spread throughout the heavenly throne. Young and old, appealing and hideous, men and women.

"Is that him?"
"It must be him!"
"He's a lot younger than I thought."
"Isn't he such a doll."
"How can he be the one? He's too fragile looking."
"Age and size don't measure one's abilities, he caused quite a storm in the East Sea."

Nezha goes to the jade steps of the throne and politely bows to show his respect.

"Are you the boy that is told to be my grandson?" Jade Emperor asked, his voice bolding echoed in excellence.

Nezha nods, "Yes. I'm.." Nezha paused for a moment before he took a calm breath to regain his confidence. Then he continued, his words proud. "I am Li Nezha, the third son of General Li Jing and noblewoman Yin Wuming. I am your grandson."

The Jade Emperor listened to Nezha's words before he glanced at his beloved, Xiwangmu. Her face stood still, as if she was scanning Nezha. Finally she spoke up as she gestured with her finger for Nezha to come to her.

"Come closer, young one.." She spoke.

Nezha didn't disobey, he trotted closer to the throne, though he was nervous he stood proud and showed no emotion of timidness.

Xiwangmu looked down at the young boy, then she put her hands on his shoulders, slowly the hands of the queen cupped Nezha's face as she glanced into his eyes. "My daughter.." she spoke as she softly smiled, "I see her in you.. You are my daughter's son.. My grandbaby."

Jade Emperor couldn't believe it at first, what were the chances..but hearing his wife assure after looking into the eyes of the young one, knowing Xiwangmu wouldn't lie, not with something such as this. Confirming for certain that this once mortal soul was their blood, it warmed his heart. "This is.. Wonderful!"

The other deities gasp as they see the Jade Emperor rise from his throne, he announced, "We shall celebrate the return of my daughter and her children!"

With that announcement, the gods, goddesses, deities and immortal sages cheered before kowtowing to show their respect towards Nezha. Nezha grinned from ear to ear as he kowtowed towards the Jade Emperor and Xiwangmu to express his gratitude. Though before Nezha finished the gesture, he was dragged into Xiwangmu for a hug. The boy felt the warm embrace of the Empress of Heaven, or technically his grandmother, he giggled a little as he happily hugged back. Along with Jade Emperor joining in on the family hug as well before leading Xiwangmu to let go to give the lotus boy some space.

"We shall have a welcoming banquet! To celebrate the new addition of the Great Jade Emperor's family. Prince Nezha!" The Great Emperor of Heaven proclaimed, while he snapped his fingers, which had the message to certain people of heaven to start planning and organizing.

With annod and a few murmurs, the divines in the hall smiled in agreement as they chanted with recognition of their new prince, "Prince Nezha!"

Nezha blushed with flattery at the attention, a welcoming banquet being for him, the other divines giving him warm recognition and respect and a big hug from his extended family. Nezha glanced over to see his master, Taiyi Zhenren. The old man smirked at Nezha, in a way that nicely reflected a 'I told you so.' The boy gave a happy smile in return, he did worry for nothing.

Shifu Taiyi was someone he can always trust, Nezha will know that from now on.
