Ethiraj Pov.

I just entered my home office; lots of files are pending and meetings are postponed, which has never happened this repeatedly. Recently, we have all been doing it way more than we would have. Today, Adik and I had gone to visit a pediatrician for Viti's full body checkup, who prescribed her some vitamins and other syrups for fever, cough, and pain in her body, which was obvious, and there we got to know she had a slight fever as well. Weather is to blame for that, and since her immune system is quite weak, it is common. It might be frequent as well.

Now that she is sleeping, we all rush to our respective work. We ensure that every second she is up, we are with her. This time period is so crucial for her, for us to get her accustomed to our presence, love, and care, which she never received, and it is all paying us hefty. Hence, I am not concerned about losing a billion-dollar deal with one of my very trusted clients. She has begun trusting us; she no longer asks if we will hit her when she needs something. That is the biggest achievement on its own. Certainly bigger than any trivial deal. I am so proud of my Goddess.

My Preciosa.

"Ethi, can you please check this file?" Adik breaks into my office.

"Hm."

"I have scrutinized this twice, but this one clause here is ambiguous." He equips me with the file.

I start reading it, and while he makes himself comfortable, he reads another file he had brought along himself.

I clear my throat to get his attention.

"No clear presentation of anything. Ask them to redo it.'

"Everything seems alright to me. There is everything we need to know before signing the contract."

"Do not serve them with this stupidity of yours."

"Pardon me, Ethi, but I really do not understand where I am displaying stupidity." I explain to him each loose point in the file that can bring unwanted and unwitting issues in the future. The foremost rule is to never trust anybody fully in the business; they will betray you when you are most unexpected.

"I took on board all you taught me."

"I do not expect such foolishness from you. When will you learn how to do business?"

"I am sorry, bhai."

"Be careful next time."

"Certainly."

"Adik, in business, you do not work upon your trust. You demand proof."

"Ethi, I handle clubs and hotels. I do not grasp this law firm's rules." He is right. He is exceptionally awesome in his field. Aksh started collaborating with small law firms and startups to build an image and great goodwill among the crowd that benefits us in the end. This way, we get new minds, young expertise, and young knowledge. Most importantly, we get young leaders. To teach Adik how things work in law firms, Aksh has ordained him to work closely with these young businesses. He will organically grow with them. However, the various trivial and fundamental mistakes he made in this file were not passable.
