Akshaj Pov

Two days have passed since Ojas came, narrated, and cried historically in my embrace. I had inquired what had been happening in the school behind my back-nothing out of the ordinary. My guess is that it is someone's words that have plagued his mind.

Yesterday it was Sunday. I controlled my anger. Today Akul refused to go to school. Checking on him, I realized he has a slight fever. Well, I should have known. He usually falls sick when stressed. Viti did not leave his side even for a second; thankfully, she agreed to wear a mask to avoid contact with his germs.

Adik is dealing with Mr. Mittal, who owns a fraudulent alcohol business along with some legal businesses, and it turns out to be a sick pain in the arse. He is finalizing his chapter and, moreover, occupies himself in law firm deals. I must appreciate he has begun fathoming stuff much better, though guidance is prominent still.

Ojas half-heartedly has gone to attend school. Nil, no longer recognizable, appreciable, and sensible as he used to be. Thinking about him just builds up the rage in me I have been suppressing for quite a while now. Ethi still has not contacted me through any means. I am seriously worried about him despite acknowledging how responsibly he plays his cards and must be as safe as he is at home.

My phone rings, bringing me out of my thoughts; a deep sigh leaves me before I pick.

"Hello, Sir. What mess has she created now?"

"Yes?"

"Sir, I have sent you all the documents requiring your signature; please do that as soon as possible. I will be sending those to the departments by 5.00 pm to carry on with the projects." She speaks a lot and in high-pitched volume.

"Hm. Come yourself to pick up the documents with the office driver." I cannot risk any paper going misplaced or lost. These projects might be small but as crucial as any other big ones.

I have not made this law firm the best one in the country just like that. My beliefs, Ethi's ethics, and equality, importance to everyone, case has made it what it is today.

Not a single case that I have lost till today since I started this company. Well, I myself handle cases that are highly critical. I render cases otherwise to the best team I have created. Very soon, Adik will be a part of it. Just an official degree would be required that he can easily clear once he is acquainted with the practical theory, aspects, rules, laws, legislation, and similar stuff.

"Also, sir, you have a meeting with Andhra Pradesh's CM; his secretary has detailed in a nutshell what the case is; I have emailed that too."

"Hm."

"And sir?"

"Yes?"

"The CM has or...or........ordained you to personally deal in the court." He did, what? Ordained? Someone has gotten guts. I see. I am already aware of what the case might be.
