"Rhaenyra Targaryen was murdered by her brother or rather his dragon - it ate her while her son watched." Joffrey explained to his wife excitedly after having learned some history about Rhaenyra Targaryen. Helaena didn't know why he bothered to tell her that, she knew everything he was telling her. "What's left of her is buried in the Crypts." He giggled.
"Yes, my love." Helaena smiled, internally rolling her eyes for the 100th time. "Have Tommen and Margery left to plan for their wedding with Cersei and Lady Olenna?"
"I think so, I don't really care though." Joffrey shrugged. "I'm curious when our child is going to pop out of you."
"Any day now, Joff." Helaena said as she suddenly felt a wave of cramps, pain written all over her face.
"Your Grace?" Daemon spoke up from behind.
"I'm fine." Helaena groaned.
Then her Water broke and panic broke loose between Joffrey and Daemon. Daemon carried the Queen to her chambers, alerting her army of midwives. Joffrey on the other hand announced that his wife had gone into labor and demanded a Tourney to celebrate this.
"My wife, Queen Helaena Targaryen has finally gone into labor! To celebrate this Day there will be a Tournament held! Men who want to rise and prove to me, Their True King, shall have the opportunity to show me their strength! The Last Fighter standing will win Titles and Lands and more than enough gold." Joffrey stated proudly.
"Are you crazy!" Tyrion asked his nephew, "You do realize we're already short on supplies and now you want a Tourney?"
"I want a Tourney for my son." Joffrey sneered at his uncle. "Now arrange me this tournament within five hours, dearest Uncle. It'll be enough time as it is."
Although it wasn't much time, Tyrion managed to arrange it how Joffrey wanted it, trying to save as much as he could in the process. When the first round of the fight began, Helaena was pushing as hard as she could, screaming as if she was being murdered.
"I can't do this!" Helaena cried.
"Yes, you can. You are Helaena of House Targaryen, you brought Dragons back to this world. A baby is nothing!" Daemon said, trying to encourage her as he held her hand.
Helaena squeezed his hand as hard as she could while shouting, "You try popping out a human being from your private parts that's the size of a watermelon Daemon!"
"I'd really rather not-" Daemon had to bite down on his lip as Helaena squeezed his hand even more, which he didn't think possible.
Helaena's grip lossened as she stopped for a moment to take deep breaths. Every movement hurt, she thought she was going insane. "How much more?" she cried, exhausted.
"We barely see the head, your Grace. You need to push more." A midwife said.
Helaena squeezed her eyes shut, tears running down her face.
"It's okay, Laena." Daemon spoke up, caressing her cheek, "I'll be with you through every second of this, okay?"
Helaena nodded, inhaling deeply once more before starting to push again, screaming. The Targaryen went on like this for about a whole day, right when she was going to give up, "I think I see the head! Laena, I see the head! Keep going he's almost out!" Daemon told his lover, excited. He saw white hair on that little baby's head and with the last couple pushes, Helaena used up all of her strength she had left.
And there it was. The sound of a baby crying.
Upon hearing her baby, Helaena broke down into tears. The Midwives cleaned it up, allowing Daemon to cut the cord. The baby was then neatly wrapped before being handed to the Mother.
