Helaena spent the last couple of days after that conversation with Tywin doing her duties as usual, just with Aerys as an extra and well- the duty of being a Mother and taking care of her child.
Cersei once explained to her that even if you're unhappy in your marriage, and don't love your husband, your love for your children will be far more than any Mother could dream of experiencing.
Back then Helaena didn't understand it, but now that she's got a son of her own, her world changed for the better, almost as if it got brighter in times of war.
It wasn't only the Targaryen Queen who felt this, but her people did as well.
Another distraction, a happy one. A Prince. An Heir to the Throne, regardless if the people wanted Joffrey as their King or not, they had Helaena and Aerys Targaryen and with Aerys, hope was born.
"A bundle of joy, isn't he?" Daemon spoke up as he watched Helaena hold her son in her arms.
"He quite literally is." Helaena smiled, not being able to take her eyes off of her son.
"I have news though." Daemon stated, "About Little Finger."
"What of that worm?" She asked with a sigh.
"Lord Varys informed me that one of his birds revealed that on his ship, there's two feathered beds." Daemon explained.
"And Little Finger is too selfish to give one of his girls a bed of their own, not that he has any relations with them... So who's more important to him than the man himself." Helaena deduced. "When's he leaving?"
"On the day of the feast for the Prince, your Grace." He said.
"Curious... very curious." Helaena wrecked her brain, "One would think he'd stay for the important events, no? He's leaving in a hurry. All the more suspicious." She finally glanced at her lover. "What do you think, Daemon?"
"I think it's suspicious as well." He answered, "It's very unlike him, on the day of the feast, especially."
The Queen sighed, irritated.
"So.. who's going to break Sansa the news?" Daemon asked after a moment of silence, "That she doesn't get to marry Loras Tyrell for a plot. And instead of Sansa, Loras has to marry Cersei and she has to marry Tyrion."
"I should." Helaena declared, "It wouldn't be right otherwise. I've promised her freedom and I failed to keep my word, for what? A Plot? The King and the Hand's word? For war?"
"She can't be too upset about it though, right?" Daemon asked, stroking Aerys' hair, "I mean, Lord Tyrion is a kind, and I'm sure family loving man."
"Yes, he is. Only dilemma - he's in love with Shae." Helaena told Daemon.
"Who's that exactly?"
"Sansa's handmaiden, whose previous profession was a whore. You know how it ended for Tyrion the last time he was in love with a whore." Helaena stated. "She's loyal - as long as the right person gives her attention. Once that's gone, she'll move on to the next. It's how whores work."
"I wouldn't know." He admitted.
"You've never gone to a whorehouse?" Helaena asked, genuinely surprised.
"Nope." Daemon popped the P, "It's not what I want. Because what I want sits right before me, with her son."
Helaena couldn't hide the big smile that was forming on her lips, feeling her cheeks burn up.
Little Aerys cooed adorably in response.
"Uh-" Helaena stuttered, "I should get going before Cersei or Tyrion- or even Joffrey break the news before I do."
