Five weeks later
AliIn the morning, I woke up to gentle kisses being placed over my shoulder, and I smiled as I rolled over. Morning sunlight was streaming through the window onto our bed, lighting up our bedroom.
"Good morning my love." Travis kissed my shoulder again.
"Hi." I whispered, blinking up at him.
"Oh, doll." He traced a hand over my cheekbone. "You're so damn cute in the morning." Leaning over, Travis kissed my cheek. "You're so damn adorable."
"Thank you." I giggled. All I could think about was my husband lying next to me, his arm underneath my head, his lips so close to mine. "I love you." I whispered.
"I love you." Travis murmured back, dipping down to kiss me softly. He slipped a hand past my jaw and into my hair as his tongue softly brushed mine, kissing me slowly and softly. "Baby doll I love you so fucking much." My husband murmured as he kissed me. "I..." He was cut off by a wail from the baby monitor and Travis sighed, pulling back. "Okay, I got her." He kissed me lightly before getting up. I smiled as I watched him go, and Travis returned a moment later with a very sleepy baby. "Look, there's your Mommy!" He told Aria as he sat down on the bed. "You want to go to Mommy?"
"Oh come here little duck." I reached out and took her, cuddling her close and inhaling her sleepy baby scent. Travis put an arm around me, kissing my temple. "Hungry?" I giggled as she nudged her head against my breast. Lifting my shirt, I started to feed her. "Hey, I've got that doctor's appointment today." I reminded Travis. "At three. Will you be back in time to take her or should I see if she can go to Kylie for an hour?"
"No, I'll be back." Travis reassured me, rubbing my arm. "I'll be back by two at the latest."
"Kay." I smiled, lifting my chin for a light kiss.

"Alright." My doctor smiled as she sat back in her chair. "You've healed really great. I think you're good to go back to normal activity now."
"Yeah?" I smiled back, and she nodded.
"If anything feels off, just keep taking it easy and come back to me if it gets really bad, but you've done really well." She nodded a second time.
"So..." I swallowed. "I can have sex?"
"Yes." She laughed. "Yes you can."
"Great, thank you." I got to my feet. "Have a great afternoon."
I was almost buzzing with anticipation as I drove home, placing my phone in my lap and texting Kylie, asking for her to take Aria for the night. She texted back right away, saying Aria was already at their place with Travis, and she'd keep her there. Then she texted again, saying she'd sent Travis home with no explanation, and he was waiting for me. I smiled to myself, biting my lip as I tapped my hands against the steering wheel.
By four, I was pulling in to our driveway, grabbing my things as I jumped out of the car. My heart pounded as I rushed inside, locking the door and tossing my things on the table. It was pretty embarrassing how eager I was, but I knew Travis would be the same when I told him.
"Travis?" I called out as I shrugged out of my jacket.
"Kitchen baby doll!" My husband called back. I walked into the kitchen to find him putting some dishes away, and he straightened up when he saw me. "What's going on?" He asked me. "Kylie told me she was taking Aria for the night and I had to come home and meet you."
"I have some very exciting news for you." I whispered, walking over to where he stood. Travis arched an eyebrow as I placed my hands on his chest, smiling up at him. "The doctor cleared me." I said. "I am free to engage in all of my regular physical activities."
