I got a text from Kenzy in the morning asking me to have breakfast with them at Aunty Pixie's. I walked into the empty restaurant that Aunty Pixie probably closed down for us, where I spotted Kenzy, Tech and Detective Dary who were already eating.
What the hell is she doing here?
Walking over to the table furious at Kenzy because I knew that she set this up knowing I don't want anything to do with that two-faced bitch, I took my seat.
"What took you so long to come over? We chose the closest restaurant to your house just so you won't be late", Kenzy said whining.
"I hate mornings and don't lie, you chose this 'cause you love Aunt Pixie", I said looking at her with anger in my eyes.
Sitting in front of our new friend, I completely ignored her presence and started to eat. The only reason I even agreed to her joining forces with us was because Mum said she trusted her, but I don't. Not until she proves herself at least.
Looking over at her smug little ass eating food with us like it's nothing I spoke up.
"So Detective, how's everything going? You liking the whole traitorous situation you got with the Police department?" I asked looking at her with the most fake smile I could muster up while taking a bite of the pasta that they had already ordered me. I mean feel free to get me wrong but I seriously do appreciate her help because having people in national services only helps us more but I can't help but be sceptical of her 'cause, at the end of the day, she is a police officer and a traitor to her own kind at that.
"It's going fine Ajax, or do you prefer Andra?" she said with amusement all over that smug face of hers.
"Ajax is fine", I seethed.
"Thanks for asking about my well-being by the way, not that you seem to care though. When will you stop being wary of me though huh? Because it's kind of getting tiring with all the energy I have to put into being your personal police punching bag."
Holding my fork a little tighter than I should, I kept my face as emotionless as possible. She kept going on.
Ugh, this is so infuriating.
"I mean it's not like I'm planning on selling you guys out, I'm in this for the long run and I plan on taking down every single one of those corrupted higher-ups along the way, I was just lucky enough to have you guys on my side and have Madame trust me."
The fuck does she expect me to say? Oh no, it's completely fine detective, I LOVE having traitors around me and will accept them with all my heart without any questions asked. She might have gained Mum's trust but I am not going to just give her mine on a silver platter.
I look at her with a blank look on my face and continue to chew.
"Yeah well, you know what will happen to you if you do sell us out Gary, so just do your thing, don't make yourself comfortable and don't fuck it up kay?", I said smiling sarcastically. She smiled and continued to eat, gesturing for me to do the same thing. I have a feeling we are gonna be besties.

I internally groan and stuff my face with pasta.
"Okay! If we are done having breakfast with a side of death threats can we please talk about how we are going to do this?", Kenzy piped up, pointing at the photos of Cassandra Stanley, lying on the table in front of us.
Right, Cassandra.
"Well, I sent the body to the police morgue anonymously with all the autopsy reports, and information about the girl and the Foxes as planned with instructions to start an official investigation or face the consequences. They were given a 24-hour deadline, enough time for you guys to carry out your part of the plan. If they don't do as told, my reporter friend will be ready to release all the information to the public. Public pressure will force them to open up an investigation and I'll be putting in a request to allow me to be the primary detective on the case. Don't worry, I will get the job." she finishes
I gave her a slight nod and kept eating. She's at least doing her job right.
Tech and Kenzy kept giving each other these oddly suspicious glances and Tech finally piped up.
"Since we are done with breakfast and clearly you two aren't, Kenzy and I are gonna head out", Tech said giving Kenzy a weird look.
"Ah, yes, yes, we are going to head out, you two should finish your food", she said in a weird voice as well and Tech pulled her by her forearm and left the building like it was on fire.
Wow, that was very subtle.
Once they have finally left the restaurant and me alone with this person, she finally breaks the awkward silence.
"Soo... having people to follow me around Andra?" Dary asked me with amusement in her voice.
I held back a smile, knowing that Kiana is following every word I told her.
Again, that's why she's my favourite.
"I don't know what you're on about Barry. Oh and don't call me that, you and I aren't that close for you to call me that." I said looking at her blankly.
"Says the person who calls me every other name than my own", she says to herself.
"Well, I might have something of interest to you."
She smiled and slid a piece of paper across the table. I looked at it hesitantly and cocked a brow.
"I hope that shows you my capability Ajax", she stressed out my name with a smirk and got up and left.
Waiting until she completely disappeared into the distance, I took the paper and read it. I smiled and started chuckling to myself which turned into a full-blown maniacal laugh.
I looked outside at the long-gone detective with anger pouring out of my pores. Scoffing, I looked back at the piece of paper.
She does have some guts, I'll hand her that.
Crumpling it up, I took out my lighter and watched it burn in my hands before I dropped it onto the table and let it burn.

I get off my car a few kilometres away from our warehouse and walk towards it lighting another cigarette.
I really need to throw them away.
I walk in and already see that the girls are done hanging up all the white tarps to create a closed-off area.
"Hey Ajax, I brought in all the tools and set up the camera in front of the chair. Did you get any messages from Tech and Kenzy? The last I heard they said the Foxes were still in the loan office partying." one of the girls said to me.
"Don't worry, they said they will move in once you guys are done setting this place up. I'm going to tell them our side is done then".
I sent the assault team a thumbs-up message and waited patiently for the arrival of my new toys.
I'm going to have loads of fun today. Yayy!
