Jeongin carried me all the way home. Once Jeongin and I were in my room, he gently set me down on the bed and checked to make sure I was okay. His eyes were filled with concern as he brushed a strand of hair from my face.

"Are you alright?" he asked softly.

I nodded, still shaken but relieved to be with him. "I think so," I whispered, my voice trembling.

Jeongin sat beside me, his presence comforting. "I can stay until you fall asleep if you want," he offered, his voice gentle.

I looked up at him "Actually, Jeongin... could you stay the whole night?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. "I don't want to be alone."

He looked at me for a moment, then nodded with a reassuring smile. "Of course. I'll stay with you."

He settled in next to me, wrapping his arms around my waist as I laid my head against his chest. With Jeongin by my side, I finally felt safe enough to close my eyes and let sleep take over, knowing he would be there through the night.

As I began to drift off, his voice, barely above a whisper, broke the silence. " y/n, I think I love you..." he confessed, the words hanging in the air, heavy with sincerity. My heart fluttered, and I turned to look at him and our eyes met.

My breath caught in my throat, the weight of his words settling into my chest. The world around us seemed to fade, leaving just the two of us in that moment. I inched closer, slowly, almost hesitantly, I closed the distance between us, our faces now inches apart. His breath mingled with mine.

Without a word, I leaned in, my lips gently brushing against his. He kissed me back,
I felt his hand come up to cup my cheek, his thumb brushing softly against my skin, sending shivers down my spine. I responded by moving closer, pressing my body against his, wanting to feel every part of him. His other hand found its way to my waist, pulling me even closer as our kiss grew more passionate.

The world outside ceased to exist; there was only the sensation of his lips on mine, the taste of his breath, the warmth of his touch.

When we finally pulled away, it was only because we needed to breathe. Our foreheads rested against each other, our breaths mingling in the small space between us. His eyes were still closed, savoring the moment, while I opened mine to take in his face, memorizing every detail of this perfect instant.

"I think I love you too," I whispered, my voice barely audible but carrying all the certainty in the world. His eyes opened, a smile breaking across his face, and in that moment, I knew we had crossed a point from which there was no turning back.

Jeongin's pov:

As she drifted off to sleep, her breathing softened, and her features relaxed into peaceful repose. I couldn't help but smile softly, watching her, mesmerized by the way moonlight shined down her face, highlighting every delicate curve.

Carefully, I adjusted myself closer, wrapping my arms around her, pulling her gently against me. Her warmth seeped into me. I placed tender kisses on her forehead, her cheek, her lips, cherishing each moment.

Her presence felt like a dream, and as I lay there with her nestled in my arms, I softly caress her cheek, marveling at the softness of her skin. She stirred slightly, murmuring softly in her sleep, and I held my breath, afraid to disturb her.

In the silence, I found myself overwhelmed by a wave of emotions. How could a ghost fall in love with a girl. The depth of my feelings for her surprised me, but in that moment, it felt right, as if she had always been meant to be with me.

As dawn approached, casting a faint glow through the curtains, I pressed one last kiss on her forehead before settling back, content to watch over her, grateful for the chance to be by her side.

What y/n didn't know was how hard it is to leave her every night. Especially now that I know she loves me back. Her whispered confession still echoed in my mind. Knowing that she felt the same way made the inevitable parting even more difficult. I wanted to stay, to savor every second with her.

Each night as I pulled myself away, I promised myself that tomorrow I would find a way to be with her longer, to cherish her presence without the looming specter of time. But for now, all I could do was gently brush a strand of hair from her face, pressing a lingering kiss on her lips before silently slipping out into the world beyond her door. As I walked away, I looked back to catch one last glimpse of her.
