We walked back along the beach, the cool night air filled with the sound of waves crashing against the shore. Jeongin's arm stayed around my shoulders, providing a comforting warmth. Despite the chill, a sense of calm washed over me as we made our way back to my place.

Once we reached my home, we slipped inside quietly. The house was dark and quiet everyone was asleep, except us. We headed straight to my room, where I turned on the lamp, that slightly light up the room.

"I need to change out of these wet clothes," I said, glancing at Jeongin.

Jeongin nodded, his face still slightly flushed. I walked over to my closet, pulling out a tank top. As I started to change, I noticed Jeongin watching me, his eyes widening when I reached to take off my bra.

His cheeks turned bright red, and he quickly spun around, giving me privacy. I couldn't help but smile at how considerate he was, even in such a situation. "Sorry," he mumbled, clearly embarrassed.

"It's okay," I said softly, trying to ease his discomfort. I finished changing quickly, slipping into the dry tank top and underwear.

"You can turn around now," I said, chuckling a little.

Jeongin turned back, He smiled shyly, the flush on his cheeks deepening seeing me in just a tank top and underwear. We settled onto my bed, the room filled with a comfortable silence. Jeongin laid down beside me, but still keeping his distance.

I glanced at him, noticing the way his fingers fidgeted with the edge of the blanket. "You don't have to be so far away, you know," I said, my voice gentle.

He looked up, meeting my gaze with a mixture of hesitation. Slowly, he inched closer, until our shoulders were almost touching and snuggled into him.

His hand gently hugged my waist, "Is this okay?" he murmured, his breath warm against my ear.

"More than okay," I replied, a smile tugging at my lips as I rested my head on his chest and I fell asleep.

I woke up to my grandmother calling out my name "y/n!" She yelled from downstairs.
"Wake up Felix is coming in an hour!"

I immediately got up, excitement took over me. Felix is my childhood best friend. He lived near my grandparents and decided to visit me since I was in the area.

I quickly got dressed, my mind racing, I couldn't wait to see him. It had been a while since we last saw each other, and I couldn't wait to catch up.

After hurriedly pulling on my clothes, I glanced at myself in the mirror, a mixture of anticipation and nervousness fluttering in my chest. What would he look like now? Would we still have that same easy connection? I took a deep breath and headed downstairs.

As I reached the bottom step, I heard my grandparents greet someone at the door. My heart skipped a beat. Felix was here. I rounded the corner and saw him standing in the foyer, and my breath caught in my throat. He had grown taller, towering over my grandparents. His once dark hair was now a striking shade of blonde, and it suited him surprisingly well, highlighting his sharp features and bright eyes.

"y/n!" he yelled, a wide smile spreading across his face. He rushed towards me, arms outstretched. Before I could say a word, he wrapped me in a tight hug, lifting me off the ground slightly.

"Felix!" I laughed, hugging him back tightly. The familiar scent of his cologne brought back a flood of memories, and I felt a wave of warmth and nostalgia wash over me.

He set me down gently, keeping his hands on my waist as he looked at me, his eyes sparkling with joy. "It's so good to see you," he said, his voice a little softer now. "You haven't changed a bit."

I smiled, feeling a bit flustered. "Neither have you, Felix. Except, you know, the blonde hair and the extra foot in height." I laughed, feeling a slight blush creep up my cheeks as I took in his appearance.

His eyes twinkled with amusement. "Yeah, I guess I've changed a little." He ran a hand through his hair, a gesture that drew my attention to his strong jawline and the way his shirt hugged his shoulders. There was something undeniably attractive about him now, a maturity and confidence that made my heart flutter unexpectedly also his voice way deeper than I remember...

We stood there for a moment, just taking in the sight of each other, before my grandmother's voice broke the spell. "Come on, you two, let's have breakfast. You have a lot of catching up to do."

Felix grabbed my hand as we walked to the dining room, his grip warm and reassuring. "I've missed this," he said quietly, glancing at me with a smile that made my heart skip a beat. "I've missed you."

I squeezed his hand in return, feeling a mix of old familiarity and new excitement. "I've missed you too, Felix. A lot." As we sat down to breakfast, I couldn't help but steal glances at him, wondering what else had changed and looking forward to discovering it all.
