A legend says that the sun and the moon have always been in love, but that they could never be together, because the moon rises at sunset and the sun just at dawn. Thus, in His infinite goodness, God created the eclipse as proof that there is no impossible love.

Spring time came around. Every spring break I visit my grandparents that live in Hongdo island.
I usually stay there for a month and unwind from everything. Thought this year was going to be a bit different. My grandparents moved into a new house, it was an old house but it was still very beautiful.
The house was near the forest and the beach wasn't far away ether. It was a perfect place where I could escape the chaos of the city.It was a long drive, but it was so worth it
Seeing the house for the first time felt surreal, it was in the middle of the forest with the distant sound of waves from the nearby ocean.
I couldn't wait to spend a whole month here.I greeted my grandparents and they decided to give me the tour of the house. Seeing my room for the first time felt incredible it was so beautiful it even had a window with the most amazing view.
I started to unpack all my stuff, tired from unpacking I climbed into my new bed, layed down and closed my eyes. As I was drifting off to sleep I heard a whisper, barely hearable, brushed against my ear."Who are you?"
I jolted awake, my heart was pounding like crazy.
Was I dreaming?
It felt too real to be a dream.
I slowly scanned the room but no one was there.
I convinced myself that it was my own imagination and moved on.A couple days went by but that strange feeling that never left. Even when I was in a room by myself I didn't fully feel like I was alone, I felt that I was being watched. Nothing really happened until one night...
One night as I stood there by the window, gazing at the stars, I sensed a presence behind me. I slowly turned around there it was, there was the figure that has been haunting me for the past week. He was standing in the doorway just looking at me. He was dressed in old-fashioned attire, he had black hair and dark eyes filled with curiosity.
"I'm Jeongin" the ghost said, his voice soft and melodic. "What's your name?"
"y/n" I said quietly almost in a whisper. I felt how my lungs ran out of breath and my vision went blurry, my head was spinning. Sounds became distant, muffled almost, before I felt my body give out I heard a quiet almost hearable voice say
"Are you okay?"_____________________
The next morning I woke up tucked in my bed like nothing happened except it did happen, right?
All day I couldn't stop thinking about him so I decided to ask my grandparents who might've lived here before.
"A young couple used to live here, but that was a long time ago"
"What happened to them?" I asked
"I'm not sure, but there's an old story saying that there once was a young man who had fallen deeply in love with a woman named Isabella. Their love was pure and intense, but fate had other plans. Jeongin got sick-"
"Jeongin, is that his name?"
"Yes, people say that he died in this house.."
I felt my heart stop.
"And what about the women, what happened to her?"
"No one knows, some say she left the town and Jeongin is waiting for her. Unable to move on, his spirit lingers, bound to the house where they had shared their happiest moments."
