"All right, listen up". Hondo grabs the attention of everyone, checking their gears for the raid they are about to do.
"My CI says the heroin drop happened last night". Hondo grabs onto the handle above him. "Suppliers rented an Airbnb to cut and package. Three or maybe four guards". Hondo explained the information he had.
"Be ready for surprises". Deacon adds in, double checking his gear.
"Venice Beach". Street chimes in.
"Gentrified". Tan remarked.
"House stacked like legos". Chris fixes her gloves, looking over to Dessa who is staring off into a random space of the Black Betty.
"No breathing room for us". Deacon says for Dessa part who usually join in but didn't say anything, Deacon worried looks through the review mirror seeing Dessa staring off.
"Or mistakes. Day raid. People everywhere". Hondo leans back in his seat, waiting for his sister smart remark but it never came.
"SWAT's about saving lives, not kicking ass". Street stated putting on his glasses.
"Dessa you good?". Tan whispered to Dessa softly not wanting to scare her, he gently bumps her with his shoulder.
"Mm, oh yeah I'm okay. Just a little distracted at the moment but I'm okay". Dessa snaps out of her thought about Azha and her daughter.
She hadn't heard from the woman that day after the park. She been trying to find out where the woman lives by asking Bree, only for her to say she lived with the "Boyfriend" which no one has seen him from the shop.
Hondo been telling her maybe she found a way out. But Dessa didn't think that Azha looked to deep in love to see how strange this situation was. She didn't want to dig too deep but she wanted to make sure they were okay. She didn't want them to end up how her situation was but a bit more worse for her.
"Woah, you haven't been around long enough to quote Scripture". Dessa jokes trying to not think about Azha and her daughter for the stake of this mission.
Everyone chuckles hearing Dessa joke and not being silent, cause that is definitely not how Dessa is.
"Check it out". Tan whispers lowly showing a picture of Luca sleeping at the HQ with his stuff around him.
"No way". Chris chuckled.
"Again? I don't see why he won't just kept his place instead of moving out". Dessa shakes her head at Luca motive's of having a girlfriend.
