Yve's eyes widened as she continued reading the letter, her lips parting in shock. She couldn't believe what she was reading - a grand birthday party, just for her? Felix had outdone himself on the extravagance, spending an ungodly amount of money on something she never asked for.

"Holy s*it," Yve muttered under her breath, her expression a mixture of surprise and disbelief. "Is he serious?"

She lowered the letter, her mind still trying to process the magnitude of what Felix had planned. A birthday party, with live entertainment, fireworks, and a grand venue - all for her? It was hard to believe. And the amount of money he had spent on it... it was more than she could fathom.

"Over six hundred thousand pesos... for a party?" she whispered to herself, shaking her head in disbelief.

As Yve stared at the letter, dumbfounded, the maid who had delivered it spoke up.

"Mr. Felix seemed very excited about the party," she said, a small smile playing on her lips. "He really wanted it to be special for you."

Yve placed the letter down on the bed, still reeling from the shock. The maid excused herself and left the room, leaving Yve alone with her thoughts.

She looked around her room, her mind already running through the implications of what she had just learned. But she knew she couldn't stay in bed forever - she needed to address this.

With a deep breath, Yve got off her bed and began to get changed, her thoughts preoccupied with the upcoming party.

Yve looked at the letter again, her heart skipping a beat. Two days? The party was in two days time? That barely gave her any time to prepare.

But what would she even need to prepare for? This whole party was Felix's idea.

Yve was still in disbelief. It seemed like Felix had everything planned out to the last detail - the venue, the entertainment, even the food. But why was he going to such lengths for her birthday?

She ran a hand through her hair, her mind a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. "What am I going to do with this man?" she muttered to herself.

Yve sat down on her bed, still mulling over the party in her mind. But she also remembered that she had planned to visit her grandfather in the hospital that day. She glanced at the clock - it was already seven in the morning.

She pushed the thoughts of the party to the back of her mind, resolving to deal with it later. For now, she needed to focus on visiting her grandfather. She quickly changed into something comfortable and headed out.

Yve arrived at the hospital around eight in the morning, the corridors buzzing with the usual morning activity. She made her way to her grandfather's room, familiar with the route after visiting him so many times.

Opening the door gently, she poked her head in and greeted him with a smile. "Hi, grandpa."

Her grandfather's face lit up when he saw her. "Yve, my dear," he said, his voice weak but warm. "Come in, come in."

Yve entered the room and sat down in the chair beside his hospital bed. She took his hand in hers, feeling the familiar roughness of his skin.

"How are you feeling today, grandpa?" she asked, her concern showing on her face.

Her grandfather chuckled weakly. "Oh, you know, the same as always. These old bones just aren't what they used to be."

Yve gave his hand a comforting squeeze. "Don't worry, you'll be out of here before you know it."

Her grandfather chuckled again, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "You're too optimistic for your own good," he teased.

Yve rolled her eyes playfully. "Somebody has to be optimistic around here. Otherwise, you'd just wallow in self-pity all day."
