Cornelia was currently in the kitchen stress eating a box of cookies, which previously were full and now remained 3. Despite the sick feeling it gave her she carried on eating them as the lighting struck.

Her small frame jumped at the loud bang, she always deemed it childish to be scared of thunder but what can she do? She can't help being afraid.

The only person home at the moment was George but she recently walked in on him showering so she refuses to be in the same room alone in spite of disgust.

The front door opened, being shut with a loud slam. Followed by stomps heading upstairs.

Cornelia heard muffled complaints from izzie before the front door opened once again and Meredith came storming in.

Except she didn't miss the light shining in the kitchen, to which she entered and found Lia looking up at her with her big brown eyes.
"Come here" Meredith whispered despite her problems and comforted the young girl.

Meredith lead the girl upstairs before flopping on the bed with George and izzie..leaving not much room for Lia, which caused her just to flop on Meredith.

Lia just snuggled into Meredith and closed her eyes, sleep tempting her.

"This is a very small bed." George complained

"He's a brain surgeon."
"I look fantastic! I shaved my legs!"

"He's a brain surgeon. How can he be so brainless?" Meredith exclaimed.

"James is great." Lia mumbled
"Seriously!" Izzie and Meredith shouted together.

"wait who's James?" George and izzie asked but Lia was rushing out the door towards the bathroom, sounds of her hurling echoed.

Meredith ran after her, holding her hair back.

"lia! Wait up." A voice shouted to the girl as she stumbled to the locker room.

"yes Derek?" Lia asked as she slowed down for the attending.

"Happy birthday!" He said holding out a gift bag in one hand and a cupcake in another.

"awh! You didn't have to get me anything." Lia said feeling bad he spent money on her.

"You're my favourite sister, why not?. I believe Addie is looking for you too" he said kissing her head and biding her goodbyes.

"You look a little pale, are you okay?" Derek asks feeling her forehead.

"I ate like 50 cookies last night."
