FREYA POV
The cold air caresses my face, making me feel alive once again. It's been a long time since I felt this way.
Sometimes, little things can make a huge difference. In our regular lives, we often overlook the small things.
I'm grateful that I convinced her, and I couldn't believe it when she actually agreed to take me outside.
However, the next thing she did was unexpected. It was a small gesture in exchange for something I know she wouldn't have easily done, so I obliged.
There's barely a soul around here, but her grip is still tight as if I'll vanish into thin air if she lets go of my hand.
Peeking out of the corner of my eye, I see her scrolling on her phone, quietly engaged.
I move my hand slightly, and the soft palm of her hand brushes against mine, but she still doesn't look.
Taking my chance, I fist my hand as I yank my arm back, rubbing the hand that she held.
Her eyes shoot up to mine with a hint of anger lingering in them, making my throat run dry.
Her hand grabs my wrist once again in a brutal grip, and her gaze doesn't falter.
She drags me towards her, our bodies slamming together as her hand snakes around my waist, pulling me closer, and a gasp escapes my mouth.
Turning my face away, I try to wriggle out of her grip, only to have it tighten around me.
Her fingers dig into my skin as my breath hitches when she turns her head in my direction.
Her other hand slides into my hair, jerking my head upward to meet the sky.
Her mouth faces my neck, making me gulp in fear. Maybe it was a bad choice to underestimate her.
I close my eyes as her tongue runs on my throat, tears daring to fall at any moment.
The wetness of her warm tongue and her hot breath caressing my neck make a shiver run down my spine.
My hands shoot up to her chest, trying to push her away as I feel a sharp pain on my neck.
A moan escapes my mouth, and I feel her sucking on the same spot, her hands tightening around my hair, arching my back in pain.
She sucks hard, nipping my neck at the same time, making me feel lightheaded with the amount of pressure she's putting on my neck.
I bite my lip as I try to suppress the moans that are threatening to come out.
I feel a sudden jolt as the sound of ocean barking fills our ears, making her look in that direction as I pull away from her grip, inches away.
"Ocean, let's go," she calls, and he comes running to her, wiggling his tail.
Her eyes lock with mine for a moment and I turn away from her, trying not to make eye contact.
Selene's hand slides into mine, and I feel her warmth once again.
We make our way, holding hands, with Ocean walking in front of us.
No one can look at her right now and tell that she was just sucking my soul moments ago.
I don't know how she can be so calm and cruel at the same time.
I'm used to her monstrous behavior, but that still doesn't mean she has the right to do what she does. It's still very wrong.
A sudden car horn jerks me out of my thoughts as I look up to see a black Audi.
Selene's hands tighten around mine as I see her jaw clench.
As we reach the front door, Megan gets out of the car with a smile on her face.
My face goes pale as I see the person getting out of the car.
His eyes meet mine as I take a deep breath.
