The Truth, the Pole Truth, and Nothing But the Truth

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

"STUPID BOWIE...STUPID BEES..." Y/n mutters bitterly as she kicked a small pebble that was in her way. Much like Priya and Millie, the figure skater had woken up early to walk around the island. While they were going to hike up the mountain, Y/n had decided to walk around the beach in order to calm herself down after yesterday's challenge.

She lets out a tired sigh as she rubs her eyes, slowly regretting her decision on waking up a bit early. Now, she couldn't help but naturally ponder off in thought as she took a seat on the sand while staring at the sunrise in front of her.

She knows that she shouldn't take Bowie's actions too much to heart considering they are in a competition, but it still hurt how much he tossed her aside for immunity. She expected Julia to do something like that but Bowie? A light scoff escapes from her lips as she grabs a small pebble and skips it the lake, causing the rock to lightly bounce as it then drowns into the abyss. "This is so dumb." Y/n grumbles.

She lets out a deep breath; her mind pondered off, if that's how Bowie wanted to play, then she'll try to beat him at his own game. For now though, if she really wants to stay and win, she has to play along with Bowie, even if she doesn't forgive him just yet.

But, she needed a plan. A plan that will for sure get her into the finale and win. She had a few ideas in mind; using the people around her and the alliance she has for sure, but something feels missing.

Before she could continue trailing off in thought, she then heard something rising up from the water. Her brow raised in confusion as she sneakily followed the sound, hiding behind a large boulder to see Chris holding a remote and testing out the pillars from afar, presumably for today's challenge.

"Great..." Y/n mutters while rolling her eyes, already unamused for whatever Chris has in mind for the challenge. She then takes note of the sky, no longer a bright purple as it once was, now slowly starting to transition to a nice shade of blue. Y/n clicks her tongue in annoyance, it was only a matter of a few minutes before Chris would start signaling everyone to the docks.

She lets out a quick sigh, "Might as well start heading back..." She trails off, a yawn escaping from her lips as she began to walk away while rubbing her eyes tiredly. Not paying attention to her surroundings, she felt her foot step on to something that wasn't sand, but an object of some sort. Her brow raised in confusion as she thought she stepped onto a weirdly-shaped rock.

She began to back away slowly to inspect the mysterious thing she had stepped on, only for her to release a small gasp as her eyes widened in doing so, realizing that it was one of Julia's old phone. The same phone that Bowie had thrown and Mk had used to download all of their confessionals.

Quickly, Y/n looked around her surroundings, checking to see if any of the other contestants had woken up yet, only to see their cabin still being dark. A grin laced on her lips as she focuses her attention back onto the phone. She clicks on the right side of the phone see if any battery was left.

Soon enough, Julia's phone lit up, showing her lockscreen with 12% of battery remaining. As she began to look around for a secluded spot, she notices a nearby dock up ahead. Looking around one last time, she quickly heads over there. Being overtaking by the darkness surrounding her. She smirks as she began to turn on the phone, her eyes slightly squinted due to the high brightness the phone had.
