I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, unaware of the eyes that were on me.

"Who's that?" It was a message from Alexandria.

I looked up to where she would normally sit, only to see her staring daggers at the new girl sat next to me.

I let out a quiet laugh before picking my phone up again and sending her a message back.

"Be nice. She's new. Her name is Sapphire :)" I sent the message and once again looked up to see Alex now staring at me. Her head was slightly tilted and it looked like she was chewing on the inside of her cheek. Either she was deep in thought or she was trying to intimidate me, I won't lie and say she doesn't look hot sat like that.

I watched her as she took a glance at her phone, type something and then put it back in her pocket, returning back to talking to the other professors as if nothing has happened.

I looked at her reply.

"If I weren't your professor, I would come over there and fuck you right in front of her purely for looking at what's mine. I know you said you wanted to take it slow, but my feelings remain the same, Aurora. I can't control the way I feel about you and that includes my jealousy."

I gulped.

She seemed to be completely unbothered by the situation now, as if she knows nothing will happen between me and Sapphire, and she's right. I'm completely infatuated with her and she knows that.

I smirk at the thoughts I began to think before replying.

"Aww, you're jealous? That's cute." I felt a rush of confidence flow through me, well it was either that or the adrenaline mixed with partial stupidity.

I turned my attention back to my friends, not expecting another reply from Alexandria.

"So are we all down for tonight?" Maya beams at the group, everyone nodding their head except from me who had no idea what was happening.

"Rory?" Everyone turned to look at me, eagerly awaiting a response.

"Uh- what are we doing?" I gave a sheepish smile, hoping that they won't be offended by the fact that I wasn't listening.

Maya jokingly facepalmed before taking a big breath, "We are all going to a frat party that's not far from campus, do you wanna come?"

Ugh. The last party didn't exactly go to plan and it wasn't very fun.

I was about to turn her down until I was interrupted by the new girl next to me, "Please come, please please~" She begged, putting her hands together like she was praying and exaggerating a pout.

I was taken back by her newfound confidence.

"Fine." I huffed before everyone started cheering, I glanced over at Ms Cain's table again only to see her with her arms crossed and her eyebrow raised. I could see the darkness in her eyes from the other side of the room.

The sight reminded me of the message I sent her, my throat dry before I took my phone out of my pocket and read her message back, one that I didn't think she would be sending me.

"Tell me, Aurora. Do I need to come over there and put you in your place in front of your new friend, or will you start behaving because it seems our time apart has made you forget our dynamic, my love. Don't test my patience. xx" I reread the message a few times over before I could actually make sense of what she was saying.

I must admit, I have missed teasing her like this.

I could still feel her eyes on me, as I thought of what I should say back.
