"He knows we're here." Will stated as he felt the hairs on the back of his neck rise. The gang figured it out. Eleven is the one the flayer is going after, since she can clearly kill and end him. Nancy heard something outside and felt worried. Thinking that since y/n found her here, at the cabin. That the flayer would come for her then. She was more than right once Will confirmed his feelings.

The gang rushed outside to make sure it was just fireworks they were hearing. Once they looked at the road, they saw the huge creature coming towards them but from afar. They hurried to get any weapons they could and patch up the doors and windows with any wood or furniture near by. Billy admired how quick everyone was on their feet. Guess they've been through it so many times now... They all stood in the middle of the room and waited. Anticipation was the devil in this moment.

Scared breathes were heard around the room until an arm smashed through a piece of the wall. (The monsters arm/tentacle) Billy rammed an axe into it so it wouldn't come for him. Unfortunately, it ended up shoving Jonathan to the ground and trying to plummet him. Nancy shot the arm with all the bullets the shot gun had left. Billy was surprised by her bravery. Luckily El helped up with the slack and used her powers to control the monsters arm before it could harm Nancy.

Eleven broke off it's hand, making it screetch in pain and rush out of the house. Max was so close to the hole in the wall. Billy got to her in perfect timing, as soon as another arm came through the wall beside Max, he covered and protected her. El caught the first arm in mid air and the other, that came through the opposite wall, right after. With one pull of a motion, she tore off both of the hands with her powers.

Quickly, a piece out of the monsters mouth came through the roof and grabbed elevens leg. It was all so fast. Firstly, Mike came to help pulled her down so it couldn't take her. Then, Will, Jonathan, Billy and Max helped as well. Nancy scrambled more bullets together so she shot it's face. And Lucas grabbed the axe off of the ground and stepped up onto a chair to cut the limb off of the monster. With many guns shots and slices, it finally got chopped off and backed off a bit.

El fell to the ground, yet the hand piece was still attached to her leg. Without hesitation, Mike pulled the hand off of her. It definitely hurt, making her scream in pain. El was so mad at it that she yelled out as she used her powers to spilt the monsters head in half. That gave them a vantage point so they used it and ran like hell out of the cabin. Everyone piled up into Nancy's car.

The gang decided to go to a local grocery story. The place will have everything they need to gear up and take care of El. Of course, the store was closed because of the holiday. Billy had no hesitation in throwing a brick through the glass door. Anger was a normal outlet for him yet people were shocked.

Max told Nancy the correct way to care for Max's wound. So, everyone but Mike and El helped to search for supplies. Billy went to search for alcohol. He was in need of a beer right about now.
"Hey man. I just wanted to say that I uh... I'm sorry about y/n." Lucas brought up as he caught up to Billy. Billy wasn't sure if it was because of his vulnerable state or all the shit going on lately but what the kid said hit his heart. It mattered, and no one really cared or at least has shown that they gave a fuck about Billy being involved. He understands that he hasn't been the best guy to rely on in the past.
"Thanks kid, it means a lot." Billy said as he popped open a cold beer and then chugged half of it down. He was surprised with himself. There's no point to have a hard exterior now.
"We'll save her. You gotta trust us." Lucas gave him a pat on his shoulder and a big smile.
"Guess you're not as bad as I thought." Billy admitted with defeat. Lucas shrugged with a shy grin.
"I might've been too hard on you before but that's just because you and Max were hanging out. Just don't hurt her. Or... I'll kill you." Billy stated, it was light hearted and not so heavy. They ended up chuckling at the end of Billy's sentence. Yeah, he was being honest and Lucas knew that too. It was just really nice for them to have this conversation.
"I won't hurt her, I promise. She might end up hurting me though." Lucas tried to joke. Billy nodded his head and let his smile hold on for a little longer.
"Let's go kid." Billy nudged him and they began to walk.

Lucas noticed the stack of fireworks piled high. He thought it'd be a great idea to use them against the monster, if they needed to. In this case it isn't a bad idea. They can't exactly stock up on weapons now, so this was the best option.

Eleven and Mike got interrupted by the static sound of Mike's walkie talkie. It was Dustin on the other end, yet he was losing connection. His walkie ended up dying on him. All Mike heard was 'code red' and 'gate'. He knew the information had to be important.

El decided to go into her trance to search for Dustin. He's been MIA for days and all of the sudden he randomly starts speaking nonsense on the walkie. Eleven found out he was watching a movie at the mall. They were all confused why he was there, it all seemed so normal.

Lucas guided a cart full of fireworks into the car. Billy helped him load it in. Then, they were off to the mall. They weren't exactly sure what to expect at this point.
