The reunited couple didn't ever untouch each other. They always had to be together, never separated, never apart. It'll be difficult to break these two away for awhile. Right after the couple took a moment to themselves, Max gave them privacy. She was glad to see her brother happy again, already seeing his depressive state slowly leave his body. Billy and y/n sat on the hospital bed to finally talk about everything. Billy never looked away from his beautiful girl, admiring her even after all the pain she's been through. He took note how gorgeous she continued to be. She needed to collect herself before she could conversate. Billy gently took her chin and turned her face towards his.
"Take all the time you need." Billy softly spoke as his thumb caressed her face. He wiped off the wetness off of her face. Y/n gave him a sweet appreciated smile as she nodded.
"I uhm... I just don't know what to say, how to explain it all... It sounds so..." Y/n steadily let out.
"Crazy?" Billy finished her sentence and she confirmed it with a quick nod.
"I think I can help you understand everything. Maybe Max can do it better though since she had to inform me on it all." Billy stated. Even though y/n was sort of confused, she nodded her head in agreement. He saw the confusion and understood it quite well.

Billy ended up grabbing Max so they all could talk. It was too soon for the whole gang to combine right now. Y/n needed her space. Sooner or later she'll realize everything she was forced to do (even though she secretly knows it, is just confused by it all).

Max explained it all pretty well. Billy would pitch in to add the details of the most recent events. It took time, patience and many questions from y/n but she kept up with the new information. It wasn't hard to believe after she heard that she's been controlled by some sort of unknown monster that they give dnd names to. It oddly all connected in her brain.

Thoughts plagued her brain as they spoke about Heather and her parents. She started to piece together the night they became a teamed and flayed the Holloways. It feels so unreal, even now. She was putting people on their literal death bed. At least that's what it felt like in her mind. It hurt to hear it all, but she needed to or she wouldn't understand. Billy helped to comfort her, just as he promised himself he would.

Some people would cave away from the people that love them, in this time. During the hardest moment of their life. Moments when someone is so terrified, even of themselves but y/n couldn't do that. She needed everyone near her. She's been shoved away for too much of her life as it is. Which made her think of her mother too.

"Has my mom came to see me?" Y/n asked but immediately knew as she received apologetic looks from the step siblings. Y/n nodded, not needing a verbal answer. She felt sad, truly. Her mother really neglected her but she thought maybe in her true time of need, she'd show up or care for once. Obviously y/n's hope for her mom completey ran out in this moment. She was even worried to go back home.

The siblings explained how the government was involved. Which only made since. Who else would clear up all the messes? No wonder all of this isn't public. Meaning y/n was safe to go back to the world. Her mom wouldn't suspect anything, if she even cared to. People would assume she was in a fire, burned and now okay. Yes, still a tragic story but no where near as harmful as the truth.

"So, you saved me?" Y/n asked Billy as they came to the end of there explanation. Billy nodded slowly. Y/n couldn't believe that he got hurt for her, then again she was so grateful. They were both there, together and perfectly okay. Physically above mentally but that's better than fucked up. Y/n threw herself in her boyfriends arms once again. He never hesitated to collide along with her and mold to the shape of her. They'd intake each other's scents, warmth and heartbeats.

Max admired the couple before her. She wanted to be like that. Have someone who would die for you and live for. That wasn't too hard to find since they literally deal with this crazy alternative dimension.

"El saved you too." Max spoke up after the couple slowly parted from each other.
"Yeah, she did. I just wish I could thank her." Y/n nodded as she replied.
"We'll call her later, she'll be happy to know you're okay." Max smiled. Y/n smiled back feeling some piece.

Y/n was still hunted by her demons. She couldn't believe that she, her hands, killed people. It wasn't her fault at all but she had to remind herself that. It'll be a struggle.

Max left to meet the boys at the arcade. Some of them are trying to forget the crazy events and still have a life.
"So... it's September?" Y/n asked Billy as they ate the lovely hospital food, together at a table in her room. She was sick of the bed, as much as a coma patient can be. No matter how much Billy assured her to get more rest or to relax, she couldn't. She wanted to indulge in her time with Billy.
"Yes. The glory of senior year." Billy responded with slight enthusiasm and sarcasm.
"How's that going?" She asked, genuinely curious. Billy hesitsted but he thought, why lie to her now?
"It wasn't good at first but now it's better." He shrugged in response.
"Tell me about it... Please." Y/n requested.
"Well... In the beginning people assumed I started the mall fire and hurt you. But I didn't let the rumours get to me so eventually they all wore off. It's fine now, it'll be better once their queen has arrived." He answered her. Y/n couldn't believe the dumb rumours people come up with but then she was happy at the end of his sentence. She gave him a smirk and nod in appreciation.
