You hide in your room for the rest of the night, occasionally the phone rings and its either a telemarketer or a family member you haven't spoken to since Christmas. You appreciate the calls but wish you could be left alone. Eventually you fall asleep, the air around you growing cold. You wake a few hours later and push yourself up. The buttons on your jeans left indents on your skin that itch. You take off your jeans, scratching the indents subconsciously. You lay back  in bed, the cool air causing your legs to get goosebumps. You get under your blankets and fall back asleep.

You wake again, the sun hitting your eyes. You groan as you uncover yourself, the air warmer than last night. You stumble across your room to your closet. You grab a black crop top that you bleached "MOTÖRHEAD" across the chest and a pair of ripped jeans. As a last minute addition to your outfit you add a studded belt and a necklace with a black pendant that hung to your bellybutton. You grab your wallet and keys off the nightstand and walk to your kitchen to grab an apple before leaving the house.

You pull into your local HOA office parking lot and park your car in front of the building. You gather your things and make sure to take your house key off of your key ring before heading into the building. A cool breeze hits you as you walk into the building. The sound of your boots catch the attention of the receptionist as you walk into the building. "Good morning." She smiles at you. You wave and approach the desk. "How may I help you today?" She asks you. You feel her eyes examining your outfit, making you nervous. You shift your weight. "I need to get my lock changed. Hopefully sometime today while I'm out." You answer her question. You shift your weight again as she begins to write something down on a piece of paper.

"Why don't you sit down while I run this through and make some calls." She says as she points to a chair on the other side of the room. You nod and go sit, checking the time every now and then. She's gone for about fifteen minutes before she comes back out. She walks over to you, her red heels clicking as they hit the floor. "So, we can have someone at your house at about 2:30 today. To make everything easier we'd like you to be at the residence when we change the lock so that the lock that's on your door right now is unlocked and so that we can just give you your new keys." She explains. She hands you some papers and a pen. "I'll need you to fill these out and take them back up to the desk when you're done." She smiles at you before leaving.

You fill out the papers, taking your time so that the rest of your day goes faster. Once you finish you give her the papers and leave. You head back to your house, praying that your mother hasn't shown up again. You enter cautiously to see that she isn't there. You let out a sigh of relief and lock the door behind you.
