Charlie POV

Since we still had a ways to go, Sam set an alarm so we could get going as soon as possible. But since Sam is a total idiot, they forgot to set the alarm at the right time. They set it to 6 pm instead of 6 am. To make matters worse, Sam was also the first one up, waking up about 30 minutes after the alarm was meant to go off, and didn't even wake a single one of us up.

I got up next, at about 6:50, although to be honest I didn't sleep at all throughout the night. I kinda just layed there in the king sized bed and thought about what I was going to do now that I'm stuck with the other idiots for god knows how long.

I am grateful that Anika is here too. I definitely wouldn't make it very long stuck with those anime weebs obsessed with stick figures and rizzing each other up while fighting over Anika. At least Camila hasn't tried any of her 'rizz' yet. God, with the current circumstances and a bit of creativity, she could make some horrid ones if she tried.

By 7:15 we were all up. Practically half dead from lack of sleep, but up. I grabbed my glasses, and walked into the kitchen where the others were preparing breakfast.

I ate my breakfast quietly, not bothering to engage in conversation with any of the others, but it seemed they all had the same idea too.

The room was quiet as we ate our thin sandwiches. By the time we had our things in our bags, and were ready to keep moving, it was already nearly 8:00. Once we were sure we had everything, we headed out to get to Anika's house.

I wonder. We go to each person's house, then what? And what if our parents aren't there? Heck, how are we still here? There were just so many things that didn't make sense. How does a body even do that? Just explode.

I started to get a little bored of walking in silence. Usually these guys were never quiet and now it felt unnatural. I eventually decided to speak up "Can someone speak? We're gonna be stuck together for a while and might as well talk to each other."

The others seemed to agree, no point being quiet during this adventure. Better to stay positive and keep smiling. So as we walked, we also talked to each other and kept each other company.

Sam got a sudden idea, and linked arms with Camila and Anika, skipping festivly in between them. Both of them weren't exactly surprised and were used to this kind of behaviour from Sam and instantly moved to the side, away from Sam.

I raised my eyebrows at Sam. "Your moves have become way too predictable." I said, scoffing slightly. They just rolled their eyes. Sam didn't even look up at me, I guess their just too short to look all the way up at me.

There was a hill. I wonder how many hills we'll have to go up to to get to everyone's house. I groaned at the thought. To keep ourselves distracted, we practised cheesy pick up lines on eachother. Sam's were the dirtiest, Camila's were the dumbest, mine were perfect, as always and Anika's were well thought out and clever.

It was Camila's turn. "Are you a TV? Cause I want to turn you on" Sam immediately went behind Camila, and wrapped their hands around Camila's waist and spoke softly. "Oh honey, I get turned on just looking at you"

Camila immediately screamed and ran away, up the hill away from Sam. "OH HELL NAWH" She yelled, without stopping or looking back. I looked down at Sam. "I will smite you...hold on"

I pulled out my computer, and quickly looked up the meaning of smite. The others stopped and waited as I sat on the footpath to google smite, except for Camila, who was now hiding behind a tree from Sam.

"Hmmm smite...a heavy blow or stroke with a weapon or the hand, yeah, I'm gonna do that to you." Sam wasn't going down easy. "Ohhhh, yes please! I would absolutely love that!"
