It was a bright and sunny day over at Sweet Apple Acres, Twilight and Applejack walked through the orchards along the earthly path, each carrying baskets of apples on their backs. Spike, the small dragon, meanwhile sat comfortably on top of Twilight's back

"I still can't believe just how big Sweet Apple Acres is in Equestria!" Applejack said. "I mean, look at all those trees!"

Twilight chuckled. "Yeah... back in Equestria, Applejack and her family take great pride in their farm, and rightly so." She said, smiling warmly. "Their family were among the first settlers in what would become Ponyville. The farm is so well-known that even today, dozens of ponies flock over there during the harvest season."

She then turned to Applejack with a fond smile. "And I feel truly honored to be friends with all of them."

The Apples in the crowd couldn't help but feel touched by Twilight's kind words.

"Aw, shucks, Twilight. I'm the one who should feel honored to be your friend." Applejack replied, smiling back.

Twilight caught up to Applejack, and they began walking together while Spike started taking apples out of the unicorn's basket.

"No. Nope. Nope..." Spike said as began tossing some away after inspecting them.

"Thank you kindly, Twilight, for helping me out." Applejack said with a happy tone, jostling her own baskets slightly. "I bet Big McIntosh I could get all these Golden Delicious in the barn by lunchtime." She continued. "If I win, he's gonna walk down Stirrup Street in one of Granny's girdles!" She finished with a laugh.

A laugh that was quickly shared by the students at Canterlot High.

"HA! Did- did that really happen there too? Oh, that's priceless!" Applejack exclaimed, struggling to catch her breath between fits of laughter.

"Wait, hold up. You did that here too?" Rainbow Dash asked, her eyes widening. "And you... won?"

"What do you think?" Applejack replied with a smug grin, still chuckling.

That made everyone burst into laughter again.

"Nope!" Big Mac huffed, crossing his arms with a pout.

"Deny it all you want, but who's got the pictures to prove it?" Apple Bloom sang teasingly, making Big Mac's face turn redder than an actual apple.

"Aww... seeing this certainly brings back memories..." Twilight said nostalgically. "That was one of the first things I did after fully moving to Ponyville."

"No problem at all, Applejack." Twilight said. "I'm glad the goal is lunchtime. All this hard work is making me hungry." She added before an apple bounced off her head, courtesy of the dragon on her back.

"I know, right?" Spike said before giving a sheepish grin at the glare from the unicorn.

"Puh-lease, Spike." Twilight said. "You've been lounging on my back all morning while we worked."

"Exactly!" The dragon exclaimed. "You two are taking so long, I missed snack-time."

"Oh, poor Spike." Fluttershy said. "A baby should never miss a meal."

Twilight could only chuckle at the shy girl.

"Don't worry. Fluttershy. He's just being dramatic." The princess called. "That's how all dragons are! Big stomachs, big need for food!"

"Wait, you've met other dragons?" Flash asked from below them, which caught the attention of others.

"Yeah, a couple of times in the past." Twilight answered. "They're really possessive of their hoard, partly due to their own greedy nature, but also because it's their most stable source of food."
