"WHERE IN THE WORLD WERE YOU BURIED YOURSELF, YOU SENSELESS CREATURE! Did you see the time? Where is your phone now, huh? Did you just swallow it or something?
Don't come inside my home! You're drenched like a stray dog. I'll get a towel first. Wash your legs and hang your dupatta out. DON'T bring it in now!" Such sweet words in a sweet tone from the midget of a woman. Wow!
A few moments later, my mum brought the towel and threw it in my face. That's my cue to wipe myself clean. After I'm semi dry, I walk into the hall with slow steps. My head hurts, and my hand has a nasty scratch in my fingers.
I didn't finish my lunch as I was sincerely preparing for my not so successful nor surprising test.

"NUMAIRA BILAL SHAREEF! YOU DIDN'T FINISH YOUR LUNCH?! You take food for something easy to get, right? Well, guess who's starving tonight? You are not getting any food tonight! Inaraa, if she asks for coffee or food, do not even move, you hear!?"
"Mi jaa-" she doesn't let me talk as she says, "You are one ungrateful being Numaira, I'd hope you know that! Could you not even give me a call before coming home? Well, why would you care? Everything is so easy for you that you don't even realise the importance of it. Well, it's my fault. I gave you so much freedom, and I didn't raise you wel-" okay, this is bad so I interrupted her.
"Stop it, maa. My phone got switched off due to no charge." I was about to continue but mom was a little bit shocked and her gaze is focused on the floor. Then Inaraa asks me with a concerned tone.
"Di, is that blood?"
Oh, did I say when someone raise their voice, I tend to clench my palms tight into a fist?
I do that when I'm anxious. My mom looks at the spot I am standing, a small puddle of water, and a concerning amount of blood droplets are visible On the floor.
As I see that horrific sight, my steps automatically take me to the kitchen. I got the cleaning supplies and reached the living room then, swiftly started to clean the blood drops.
My mom doesn't do well with the sight of blood.
Practically, hemophobia.
It was due to my childhood flower vase incident.
After cleaning, I placed the objects back into their original place.
Then I moved to my room, and closed the door. I have to change and fortunately I'm not allergic to rain or wet clothes that could cause cold.
While I was taking a warm bath, I noticed the tiny bump in my head. Must've got during my foot slip.
