To say, the past two weeks haven't been very good, would be an understatement. Business Maths test scores were 12 out of 25, and Accounts test scores were 20 out of 25. The thing that pushes me into distress is Asad's nonchalance.

He didn't ask me why I scored low or anything. Just gave me an assignment of working out those sums in the notebook. Apart from that, nothing. It's like he never even conducted the test.

Next week arrived pretty quickly, and I also wrote the test, and Maths scores just one mark more than my previous test, and Accounts was a mark less than my previous one.

Well, shit. That's what I thought after this, you know very well that I am always sappy like this. It's just that things have been a little bit off in my home. Numaidh said he was going to move out. That sure is enough reason to be gloomy.

Along with that, Inaraa caught some viral fever, and she is ill. Yet, he had to get some injection for treatment, which is, by the way, her most feared thing. She is not even afraid of insects or bugs like me. Or any living thing for that matter. Just needles.

Abbu and Mom's distress is so palpable that it is very difficult to ignore, as if that isn't enough Hasadh has been fighting with some boys who are older than him. He drew blood from a boy, and the teacher complained about his behavior.

He is a class topper, so he was excused for his violent behavior for once, but we have been warned that if this repeats again, severe consequences will be faced. I asked him what the problem was but he wouldn't tell me.

He had the audacity to actually tell me to go and mind my business. So, I did mind my business and wasn't talking to that dawg for the past week. He wouldn't say what was the actual reason he hit those boys, even bhai has an idea about it.

I'm just concerned about what if they come at him when he'd be alone. Bhai is also ignoring me, but if I do the same, he wants to talk to me so you can see my face being always distressed.

These distractions have been a part of my life, making it a little bit more difficult than it already is. My studies, so far, are good. Making Asad my friend mission seems to be pretty hard as days pass on.

But, am I about to give up and let go? Nope! So, I waited for him inside the library the usual seat. He wasn't late but I'm quite early. Nowadays, I come here a bit early and start revising the portions. This place is peaceful and reminds me of him constantly through his scent.

I don't know how, but this place smells like him, and I, too, enjoy it a bit too much. I've tried to stop these thoughts within me, but as days go by, I feel myself waiting for the session, anticipating his arrival.

I tried to focus on my book and been successful with it until that tall, lean but muscular frame enters the door. But I stood up due to the utter shock I felt. His face is injured. Not freshly bleeding but bandages which appear to be a day old? I am not that sure.

Before I could stop myself, I reached out towards his frame and inquired anxiously about the bandage at his right temple and a small cut near the left corner of his lips. "Shall we start, Ms. Shareef?" He dodged my question with his usual expressionless face and robotic tone.

Oh, hell no, Asad. You are answering me right now!" But I suddenly remember the chatters between few girls about quarter finals match of boxing. I didn't give it a thought then. Oh, god! He literally just got hurt due to that game.

"Sit down." I commanded, and he was about to say something, but I stopped him before he could speak, I showed my hand and said,"Sit down, Asad. Do not make me repeat myself now." I am livid, no doubts there. He sighs and sits down in his usual place. I just realized I actually ordered him  straight and interrupted while he spoke.
