"Charles, it's me." Max says.

"Come in." Charles says and Max opens the door and walks in. "Hey." "Hey, why are you here?" Charles asks as Max kisses him on the cheek. "I had something to show you. Hi Art." Max says and gives Arthur a hug. "What?"

Max sits between Charles and Arthur and he picks up his phone and starts reading out loud.

"Statement from Mclaren. In recent days a few events has happened that put our drivers in an unsafe situation. Last night something happened that left us shocked. In consultation with the Fia, we have taken the decision to not to let Lando Norris participate in the drivers parade, he will also only do an interview with the Formula 1 interviewers themselves. This interview will be sent to everyone to be broadcasted. We have been able to give Oscar a decision and he will participate the drivers parade and he will do all the interviews. Questions on this subject will not be answered. We are sorry for the fans who came here for Lando, but his safety is the most important thing."

"Jesus Max." Charles says softly and Max puts his phone away and takes Charles' hand. "No statement from Lando? Usually they put everyone in it." Arthur says, but Max shakes his head. "They're protecting him, that's good." Arthur says next. "But there has to be more, right? No drivers parade? He is with us, the drivers. No one has to try anything with him or we will help him." "But he's being booed, Charles. It's humiliating enough for him and if he's standing among everyone it's even worse." says Max. "That's true." Charles mutters softly.

"Then it's up to you to either call or send a message, Charles." says Arthur. "About?" "Whether he wants to talk to us tonight or maybe not talk but want to be with us. I thought if I meet him I'll ask, but I don't even think I'll get a chance to get close to him." "I don't think so either. He would get extra security if I understood correctly this morning." says Arthur.

"We have to wait and see. We can call him, but maybe we can do that better after the race. He must be high enough in his emotions right now." "Yes, I think so too." "I'm glad they're taking it this way. They're ensuring his safety and I don't get the feeling he was given a choice, like Oscar was given." "Lando would have go if he could choose." "100 percent that Lando would have done everything." Charles says immediately.

They've known Lando long enough. He doesn't want to disappoint anyone, even if he has no choice. He would always do something or go along if someone else asked him to.

"How was Lando last night?" Max asks Arthur. "He slept until one o'clock, but after that it was very messy. A lot of turning around or going to the toilet." "I hope we can be with him tonight." he says looking at Charles who nods. "I hope so too."

"And yet I expected that Lando would participate in everything. I often hear that the Fia is not easy in these conditions." says Arthur. "They apparently cannot ensure his safety if he participates in everything. That's how bad the situation is right now." Max sighs. "He can't even do the interviews." "There's nothing about the national anthem, but he won't be there I guess." "I don't think so."

Max sighs and slumps down more. "This will be a difficult day for Lando." he says and Charles and Arthur nod. "I think so, yes. I hope he doesn't feel unsafe all the time." "After yesterday? I hope so." Charles sighs and Max bites his lip.

"I still can't believe it." he whispers softly.

"Lando was very upset yesterday." Arthur begins and they both look at him. "He went to take a shower when we got back at the hotel. He had found a sponge and tried to clean his body with it. He was completely red and he pressed way too hard on some parts. His skin was a bit damaged." "Oh Lan." Charles says softly and Max squeezes his hand. "Yesterday I read some things online about how victims can feel when this happens to them. Several said they had done this to try to get rid of the feeling of their hands." says Max.
