(5) "Work, work, work."
Today was the dreadful but exciting day when Yesuel had to report to her new job. She did not despise her job; rather, she enjoyed it.
A beam of sunlight illuminated her face as it passed through the milky white curtains, causing her sleep to lighten. Yesuel awoke and stretched her body, attempting to make sense of her surroundings.
She moaned softly while stretching your body. Yesuel approached her balcony, still half asleep and rubbing her eyes.
"Oh no! I forgot I needed to go to work today! Fuck!" she exclaimed in panic, "I hope I did not oversleep," and her tiredness vanished completely.
She trotted to her bed and frantically searched for her phone among the pillows and blankets. She opened it, and it was only 8:20 a.m.
"Phew! I have to go there at 9:45, there's a lot of time still left.", Yesuel said, sighing in relief.
Yesuel entered the bathroom and brushed her teeth. She got up and went to the kitchen to make herself some tea. She then went to the balcony, which was Yesuel's favorite spot in the house. It just has a peaceful feel to it. As she sipped her tea, Yesuel began to think about yesterday: her lunch with Lily, her unfortunate period, and the guy at the grocery store.
He did leave her quite flustered. "Come on, Song Yesuel, how could some guy just leave you so flustered? "You are a strong lady," she muttered. "Alright?" she said, more like a question.
Stage one of having a crush: Denial.
"He did appear handsome," she remarked.
"Oh, girl!" Let us not go off track. We came here for money, not boys." she tried to persuade herself, but it did not help much.
She took the phone, which read '9:15 AM'. "Okay, I think I will get ready now." Yesuel expressed mixed emotions, including excitement and nervousness.
Yesuel made her way towards the bathroom and went in the shower and stripped her clothes. And because it was the second day of her period, her cramps were particularly severe. But even while bathing, she could not help but think about Jungkook.
She got out of the shower and dried her hair and body while putting on her underwear. She dressed casually for work. A white jumper and a pair of pants. Lily informed her that she would receive her coat and other belongings once Yesuel arrived at the hospital.
She wore sneakers and packed an extra pair of clothes. Looking in the mirror, she quickly fixed her hair and blew a kiss to herself. She took her phone, wallet and locked the door.
She took a taxi to get to the hospital.
Yesuel was standing outside the hospital, waiting for Lily to show her around. She texted her, asking if she had come or not.
