"Rise and shine!"

"Yeseul wake up! ", Hyebin shouted from downstairs.

"Coming!", Yesuel yelled in a sleepy voice.

The sun rays reached Yeseul's face, brightening it and forcing her to strain her eyes as she stood up from her bed and stretched her body after a full night's rest.

She stared at the ceiling for ten minutes and forty-eight seconds, wondering why she was born and why her mother had to wake her up so early on a Sunday morning.

She went to the bathroom and stared at her relaxed yet sleepy figure as she had just woke up from her slumber. She turned on the tap, causing the water to flow out of the sink, its sound echoing in her huge bathroom.

She washed her face and went to take a bath. Stripping herself off her clothes, she jumped in the shower and turned on the shower head, causing the water to flow down her whole body, completely refreshing her.

She got out of the shower and put a black sweatshirt with black sweatpants, leaving her hair open to dry, as she had just washed them. She opened her laptop to check for e-mails and guess what she found!

After composing herself, she went downstairs to find her father reading a newspaper in the living room while sipping his coffee and her sister watching television.

"Good morning, little one," Suyeong exclaimed. "Good morning, my foot.",she muttered, "Who wakes their child so early on a fucking Sunday?" she murmured, "Good morning, dad," Yesuel said, accentuating the word "good" in a rather sarcastic tone.

As she sat on the sofa bickering with her sister for the remote, her mother summoned her from the kitchen. "Yeseul! Come here and taste these!", she called out.

She got up from the sofa and sloppily made her way to the kitchen, leaning on the counter while Hyebin prepared pancakes. "What is it mum?", she asked.

"Taste these pancakes. I made them at home.", she said giving her a plate with a pancake, syrup dripping from it.

She took a fork and put a piece in her mouth. It melted almost instantly and she made a satisfied face while devouring the rest of the pancake.

"You idiot, atleast tell me is the pancake good or not?", her mother asked smacking Yeseul's head. She winced, rubbing her head while showing her a thumb up sign.

After eating, Yeseul went beside her mother, by the sink to wash her hands and mouth, both of which were covered with syrup.

"Do you remeber that job I applied for in that Trinity Hospital in Seoul?, she asked her mother, "Hmm.", she replied. "I got the job.", Yeseul said.

Ok. So, a little backstory. Yeseul is 25, currently, and working at Trinity Hospital has always been her biggest dream. Heck, she dreamed about it before she even understood how to dream. Aside from that, she enjoy's eating and reading, and is a sociable introvert. Sarcasm is her first language.

Hyebin replied monotonously, "Ah, come on, good one there."

"I am not kidding."

Hyebin loudly screamed, with hands covered in flour, hugging Yeseul so tightly that she probably couldn't breathe till she let go. "Mum, I can't breathe," her voice was muffled since she was clinging onto her like a koala clings on to a tree.

After a bit, Hyebin calmed down, Yeseul and her went into the living room, where her father and adopted (not actually) sister were seated.

"Dad and you, I want to tell you something," she exclaimed, excited. "Yes, what is it, Yeseul?" her father asked. "I got the job in Trinity an-" Before she could finish her sentence, her father, sister, and mother came on her and hugged her so tightly that she believed one of her organs shrank.

After they had calmed down, Yeseul told them more about it, including how she had applied for the position just for fun and ended up getting it by accident. And the largest part,

"I'll have to move to Seoul," Yeseul said with the little courage she had in her body.
