Chapter Nine: First Date? Pt. 2

     A few minutes after Yamato left for the kitchen, Kakashi and Nycole figured out what they wanted to eat. Miss Anne came over and they ordered their food. About 15 minutes later, their food arrived and Miss Anne taught them how to use the recessed stove in the tabletop. Nycole ended up losing a piece, or two, of meat into the stove a few times, which made Kakashi laugh at her, but she ended up getting the hang of it pretty quickly after that. They both cooked their meats, talked about random things, and enjoyed each others' company together. After they had finished their meats, Miss Anne came back to ask if they wanted any dessert. Kakashi pulled out the dessert menu and looked it over with Nycole. "Hm...they all look amazing. Which one would you like?" He asked her. Nycole hummed in thought as she looked at the menu. "You know, I'll be honest. I'm pretty full." She said with a soft chuckle. "Oh. Well, that's ok then. We can just take it to-go and eat it later. I can put it in the fridge for us." He said, kissing her temple. Nycole just leaned into him and smiled softly. Kakashi wrapped his arm around her shoulder and looked back to Miss Anne. "Can we get the strawberry whiskey cheesecake to-go, please?" He asked and Miss Anne nodded to him with a smile. "Sure thing." She said before walking away to put in their order. "Thank you." He said as she walked away. He then looked down to Nycole laying on his chest and smiled softly. "So. How was your first date with me?" He asked, curiosity filling his voice. Nycole smiled and chuckled a little. "Well, given that this was probably my only real first date ever, I'd say it was pretty great." She said. Kakashi felt his heart sink a little and he sighed softly. He then kissed the top of her head and rubbed her upper arm a little. "I promise you and I will always have time for dates together. Even if it's just a nice evening at home." He promised to her. Nycole pulled away a little to look up at him and she smiled brightly at him. "You truly are the most amazing person I've ever met. And I cannot thank you enough." She said and Kakashi blushed a little. "Well...I could say the same about you. Truly...you have changed me for the better. I would be so lost without you at this point." He admitted, sighing softly. Nycole smiled softly at him and nodded her head. "I know." She said before leaning up to kiss his forehead and chuckling softly. Kakashi gave her a small pouting look that was visible through his mask. "That's so mean." He said and Nycole just ended up giggling at him. "You're so cute, Kashi. What am I going to do with you?" She asked rhetorically. Kakashi shrugged a little and looked down to her hand for a moment. He held her hand in his and smiled down at their hands. "Hopefully you could keep me company for a little while." He suggested and Nycole took a moment to think. "Hmm..." She started. "Well, it would benefit both of us, wouldn't it?" She said before thinking more. "Yeah, I guess I can do that." She said, smirking at him a little. Kakashi shook his head a little and just chuckled to himself. "You know, Miss Jones. I'm getting the feeling you're going to become quite the brat once you're more comfortable with me." He said, leaning closer to her ear. "And you may want to be careful acting like that around me." He whispered into her ear before kissing her neck softly and pulling away like nothing happened.

A shiver went down Nycole's spine and her breath shuddered as he did this. She then looked to him after he pulled away and narrowed her eyes at him. "Now who's the mean one?" She asked, crossing her arms a little. Kakashi looked back over to her and had to bit his lip a little to prevent him from pouncing again. "Nyki, can't we just agree that we are both mean?" He asked before standing up. He then came over to behind Nycole and wrapped his arms around her waist. He gently laid his chin on her shoulder and hugged her. Nycole chuckled a little and leaned back into his embrace. "Yeah, I guess we can agree on that." She said, closing her eyes and relaxing into him. Kakashi smiled as she did this and he turned his head to nuzzle his face into her neck and placed gentle, sweet kisses into her neck through his mask. This action caused Nycole to giggle and squirm a little. "Kashi, you're tickling me." She said through her giggles. Kakashi just smirked into her neck. "I know. That's the point." He said, continuing to tickle her neck with his mask. Nycole's giggles soon turned to quiet laughter and she tried to pull her neck and head away from him. She wrapped one arm around his arms that held her waist and reached the other up to the side of his face. She turned her head to be able to look at him and she stared into his eye. She smiled brightly and leaned in to peck at his lips through his mask. She then allowed her hand to fall a little and move to just under his chin. She hooked her finger under his chin and held him there. "I really wish I could kiss you..." She said softly, sharing her wishes to her masked man. Kakashi thought for a moment and then looked around the room. He quickly scanned for anyone he may know and then returned his gaze to Nycole. He stared into her eyes, his own eye flicking between hers, and got an idea. "Well, if I pull my mask down for a moment, you could kiss me then. But I figured you'd want to keep all of me to yourself." He said, a smirk now visible through his mask. Nycole just rolled her eyes and shook her head. "You're a mess. Of course I want you all to myself." She started, reaching up to his face mask. "But that doesn't mean I want you hidden. That just means I'll have to beat someone's ass if they try to steal you from me." She explained before pulling his mask down and kissing his lips passionately. The hand that pulled his mask down quickly reached back up to cup his cheek as she kissed him. Kakashi made a soft noise into their kiss and returned the same passion she was releasing. After a moment, or two, Nycole pulled away from their kiss to see his face. She smiled brightly and proudly at the sight. "Wow...and to think that all of this handsome face belongs to me." She said, a smirk now playing upon her lips. Kakashi saw her smirk and began to blush a little. His cheeks turned a nice shade of pink and he chuckled a little. "And I promise it will always be yours and yours only. No one else can have me." He said. Nycole smiled at his words and gave a quick peck to his lips once more.
